I've got the same problem. I'm sticking with Backstrom - he's healthy, 25 years old, and he's precisely a point-a-game pivot in his career. The Caps started slow last year too, but really poured it on later. I think they'll settle down and adjust to their new coach. Adam Oates was an offensive machine as a player and favors offense, so that probably bodes well. Plus, Ovechkin will get hot at some point.

I can pick up one of the following:
Del Zotto, Subban, Yandle, Keith, Campbell, Enstrom, Schultz
Which is the best overall pick? Please elaborate. Thanks in advance. -

I'm a Bruins fan, so I can confirm that Mcquaid has been out 2 games due to a "personal reason." It's undisclosed, like probably a funeral, but he's a regular starter and not a healthy scratch. Another thing to consider is that McQuaid is likely to have a stellar +/- in Boston.
Did someone in your pool snap up Subban after he got signed? -

I'm the OP. Thanks for your replies. I went with Del Zotto for the extra hitting and I thought his better Rangers squad would boost his +/- considerably higher than Yandle's.
Yeah, this is a four-man pool. But it's actually quite fun because its with friends and we use it to badmouth each other. -

Hold on. McQuaid did take leave for a funeral - his grandmother's - but apparently he was back in time for the Devils game but was a healthy scratch anyway. This NEVER happened the last two years, but Hamilton's surprisingly awesome play pushes him down the depth chart probably to 6th. One worry is that Julien plans to platoon McQuaid with Aaron Johnson as a depth/readiness move. I hope not, as I love watching him face-rake and cross-check in every little scrum. Anyway, I'd keep an eye on it.
Incidentally, McQuaid just bought a house in Boston and Hamilton moved in with him after the Bruins decided to keep him rather than send him back to juniors. -

My pool counts goals, assists and power play points equally, and no +/- or PIMs. Do you guys think Clowe or Roy is more valuable, and why?

Would you rather have Dan Boyle or Ryan Suter? Please explain why.
