Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
14 team h2h 3 sport keeper league(baseball, basketball football). Crazy active, I'm talking 40-50 trades within each sports season virtually always. So I'm only looking for very active, serious managers that also like to have fun in the league. 7th year of league, unfortunately a few guys have to drop out due to life committments changing.
Teams available are as follows:(Only listing football, will list baseball and basketball also should you request for me to). Also, the starting lineups in football is QB, QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R/T, DEF, K, D, LB, LB, DE, DT, CB, S. We do 1 week rentals to help those with bye weeks at QB. You can only rent out a QB if you already have 2 other starters, can only rent a QB if you don't have 2 starters. Each team must first always field their best lineup. Never had a problem with this during the duration of the league.
Team 1 -
QB- Derek Carr
Bench- Mike Evans, Sankey,Andre Williams, Tavon Austin, Ryan Mallet Aaron Murray
D- Alex Ogletree
LB- J. Clowney
LB- Danny Trevethan
S- T. Mathieu
WR- AJ Green
WR- Jeremy Maclin
RB- J. Bell
Bench-Justin Hunter, Amendola, Heath Miller, Josh Gordon, Cody latimer, Danny Woodhead, Lance Dunbar
DT- Aaron Donald

Actually no, I meant I don't feel like arguing referring to the fact you and both Mr. Intelligence Harry both had different views so I'd end up wasting time arguing against your guys nonsense regardless of what side I took.
So I just took the time to point out the factual stuff that is literally impossible to argue.

I'm not gonna get into the debate of which side of the trade to take because I don't feel like arguing.
But, if you wanna give advice, don't give out information that isn't right. Gomez has been healthy for almost 3 straight years. He turns 29 in December. Cespy turns 29 in October. How is Gomez OLD, OLD, OLD but Cespy isn't when Cespy is actually older than Gomez? Oh and Desmond turns 29 in about 3 weeks, making them all basically the same age.
Just cause Cespy hasn't been in the league long doesn't mean he is 3 years old. He came over late, same with Abreu.
I'll preface this with saying I play in only 12 or 14 team leagues with more spots than standard leagues, mostly 14 team leagues, where 300ish players, if not more are being drafted, so maye it makes it different with their draft generations. Anyways....
All my teams I've drafted, I've only drafted 1 DEF and K, in fact some teams I have not drafted a K because the drafts were somewhat early and a K is a waste of a spot unless you draft the last week before the season starts.
And I've got all A+ and As on my drafts. I got an A+ on a draft that I did not even select a kicker.
In most of these leagues I got notes at some point or another like the ones you posted, but in the end my grade I was given didn't reflect me not knowing what I was doing.
I mean no offense by this but the team you drafted is in serious trouble. So if you got a grade you aren't too happy with, it's because of how severely below average your RBs and QB position is in respect to to the starters you would expect in a league of your size, not because of the one K and DEF ect.

If the guy isn't playing favoritism towards you(which he either is or he's an idiot) then there is nothing wrong. Veto is for collusion, thats it. I'd feel very strongly that the possibility was there that collusion was happening if he wouldn't take Cruz but would Witten because you have to be involved in collusion or about as moronic as you can get to do something like that.
Btw, you say trade off all his picks..how many picks is there. If it's a dynasty league, you all should only be looking at 2-3 rounds to begin with max.
The trade in itself is perfectly fine, nobody knows definitely AT ALL what Cooks or Mathews will do, it's just speculation whether you ripped him off or not. They could both be bums.
The issue here is it looks like collusion again because nobody in there right mind says oh I won't trade this for Cruz but I'll deal it for Witten.

No, No and No.
Depth is gonna become available throughout the season. Every year guys are sitting in FA in leagues now that become valuable. Wait until after that wave of players has cleared if you are worried about depth.
Think last year - Rashad Jennings, Andre Ellington, Julius Thomas just to name a few.

Cueto, Cueto then Cueto. I don't know how this is even debatable.
Other than Kershaw, he has been the best pitcher in baseball since 2011. Find me another pitcher with an ERA of 2.50 ish or lower during that span besides Kershaw.

I'm confused why you didn't hit accept immediately, then come here to post about how you got offered this funny trade. Get Ellington then go get rid of Stacy and Benny.

You wasted picks by drafting both Rodgers and Luck. You also wasted a pick on Seattle's def and on your K. 1 def and 1 K at MOST in a draft, and they should be your last two picks. Really, you should not even draft a K unless you are drafting the week before the season starts.
Woodhead is better in PPR than anyone realizes that is commenting here, and in truth IF Ertz is a top 6 TE or so, then you have a very nice lineup(assuming 12 team league or more here btw) minus your RB2 slot.
I would NOT have drafted Gore and not handcuffed him with Hyde. Gore falls into the high probability category to go down with an injury this year and Hyde would immediately become a top 10 back if that happened. The guys on your bench are all worthless picks..Baldwin = waste, Boykin = waste, Ridley = waste. There is no upside there with anything. Absolutely need to drop BUF defense and go add a FA that has some upside.
Also, since you have Luck and Rodgers, and Luck is the one more likely to exceed what people value him at, I would simply look to trade Rodgers for a stud RB. If you have to package Rodgers with Woodhead or anyone on your bench to get a stud RB, do it. Then your lineup will have a higher potential output weekly with Luck at QB and a stud RB at your RB2.
Ol' Blues obviously wasted his time giving you advice as you clearly have a piece in Rodgers to acquire a RB.
So go to your league, check the teams, look for who is kinda weak at QB and look to spark a trade with those teams.

Wrong, wrong, then wrong again.
Just because Rice would've won the appeal doesnt' mean the NFL shouldn't do the right thing and hand down a stiffer punishment initially to begin with. They can at least do what is right, even if it gets changed.
Second, just because the players and owners agreed on that in CBA doesn't mean you can't still again, do the right thing and not give the guy the boot for the year. You act like every single player in the NFL gave an okay to everything in the CBA, I hate to break it to ya but they didn't. A small group represented them, and their is such a thing as making a mistake when you look back at what was agreed upon in retrospect. I don't do drugs, never have and I still feel extremely strongly about the fact that it is ridiculous that Josh Gordon loses a year of work for doing something that America has now deemed to be legal in various states, all while drinking alcohol(which is literally another drug in itself), is legal anywhere and everywhere to do recreationally and can create just as many problems if not used in a responsible manner.
JUST BECAUSE RULES WERE PUT IN PLACE DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE GOOD, RIGHT OR DON'T NEED TO BE CHANGED. #$%$ rules like this should be recognized as #$%$ and unjust/unbalanced rules and when that realization comes they should not be enforced, but instead the league and players should acknowledge there is an unbalance here in how they are handing out punishment and adjust accordingly.

Why didn't you hit accept immediately? Leagues with holds immediately cut the normal value of closers to begin with(which isn't high to begin with also). Harry thinks Longo is brutal because hes played fantasy for all of a year and is incapable of comprehending the idea of a good player having a down year. And JD apparently thinks what you have did from April-August 15th of this year is exactly what you are going to do in the future.
Great players have down years too. Maybe Longoria is gonna start declining significantly, it certainly is possible and this is the beginning. However, next year is going to be his age 29 season meaning he has a few years left in the prime, suggesting it would be highly surprising if it was and I'd be more than happy to find out if it was or not by getting rid of a closer. Your bullpen isn't even set-up right to begin with, so now you can actually go add another good set-up man. And you are getting a pick, it's hilarious. You should be the one giving picks here lol.

You should obviously do the trade, you either get nothing for Gronk, or you at least upgrade from Gio to AP.
The other owner shouldn't take this trade as only 40 guys total are kept in your league, making the idea of getting Gronk not doing a whole lot for him from a keeper perspective as Gronk is a borderline 4th keep. If he is sold for sure on the idea that Gronk is gonna go back to 1200 and 15 ish type numbers I'm sure he will.
