Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
You should obviously do the trade, you either get nothing for Gronk, or you at least upgrade from Gio to AP.
The other owner shouldn't take this trade as only 40 guys total are kept in your league, making the idea of getting Gronk not doing a whole lot for him from a keeper perspective as Gronk is a borderline 4th keep. If he is sold for sure on the idea that Gronk is gonna go back to 1200 and 15 ish type numbers I'm sure he will.

None cause I'd be actively trying to trade 2 for 1 like a mofo to upgrade.
But if the league is so small than Hyde was your worst drop then that isn't gonna happen.
Shoulda dropped your kicker(which I'll be thoroughly impressed if you don't own one yet and didn't have that option)

Can only be so competitive then if bottom teams don't want Tulo or Goldy. And you can only want to win but so much if you won't trade Goldy. Rizzo, Abreu, Freeman, Miggy there are 1b out there to try to work deals for if you are worried about a long term 1b. Maybe none of the bottom teams have any of those guys so then you ride out this year with Pujols as your 1b and look to trade Goldy for another position(hello 3b). Maybe you trade him for a position you don't need a long term solution at like OF. Then once the season is up, you can trade for a 1b again by using a top OF to acquire one(either Adam or whoever you could have landed for Goldy).
Don't see you winning because you aren't maximizing what you have, or even trying to, or understanding how to.The baseball gods aren't gonna be happy with that haha.
Also, really don't understand why there is such a love fest with prospects when based on your post, this isn't a complete dynasty in the sense there isn't an MiLB roster as well with each team, so doubt but so many prospects are owned overall compared to dynasties that have MiLB squads. And with that, there is a new crop of top talent coming in every year, so you should be far more interested in acquiring top players when they become obviously available as in this case than chasing potential on prospects when it's always gonna be out there to grab.

I take it you aren't overly concerned with winning?
Why didn't you look to trade at least Tulo or Goldy, at least one to a bottom team for help this year?
Also, lost on why you own Pujols and Goldy to begin with along with Chris Davis, especially when you have a glaring hole at 3b.
You have the pieces there to put together a solid line-up top to bottom, yet it isn't. Perhaps you tried, and everyone refused idk, certainly is possible, but if it really is some very competitive dynasty league, bottom teams should have been bugging the hell out of you to get Goldy and Tulo.

We already drafted, this is the team. You must keep 4 every year, can't keep less or more. Keepers are entered as first four rounds of draft and you draft from the remaining player pool.

Why in the world does Dez cost so much? I'd be dying to shed that salary but he is such a reliable play, that I would try for someone besides Gronk. Gronk could become completely healthy, and continue like he was dominating, but I don't want to make a deal like this unless I have to. As such, I'm gonna go check all my other options before I would cave to this route.

If it's a dead league from a trading perspective then you have to re-evaluate. Knowing your league is important. In your case since it's a keeper then you know how trading has gone with the guys in the past.

Depends who else is available.
Active leagues with active trading - good rule, draft best player regardless of that nonsense.
The team you draft DOES NOT have to be(nor should it be) set in stone as your roster for the whole year.
If he is best available, especially if he is obviously best available, draft him. Then trade him or Marshall. Sometimes you have to make a move that is merely a link in a chain of moves to lead you to the best possible roster at the end.

Nobody can offer any insight bro until you tell us how many keepers total are being kept so number per team x10 since it's 10 teams(this gives insight into the player pool you guys will be drafting from which obviously varies based on how many are kept). Then you need to tell us where each of you are in the draft order.
It could be a great trade, fairly even, or awful trade depending on this information.

It is a no brainer. These guys saying Rizzo are on some serious drugs. This is an ideal trade for you because you get a better 1b that is entering his prime, and the other guy doesn't get some old guy thats about to become a bum, but yet isn't as good as Goldy. Rizzo is 25, Goldy about to turn 27, so it isn't like it is a huge age difference either. Bottom line is Rizzo is unlikely to ever be able to hit for the average Goldy can, nor provide that sneaky speed Goldy gives at 1b for at least a couple more years.

No round of draft picks justifies this trade. If he wants to give you his 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th then go for it lol. If every team just keeps two it makes Jamaal even more valuable than typical.

Need to know how many guys you keep per team. But really in all reality it doesn't matter as this is going to be a steal for you long term. As I took the time to tell some fool the other day, Montee averaged 5.9 ypc the last 8 games of the regular season last year. The Broncos run the ball a ton when they get near the endzone and Sammy Watkins is a rare talent, I wouldn't bet on him for insane numbers this year, hell Calvin his rookie year only had 750ish receiving but you don't lose any top end talent going from Thomas to Ball and you add a guy who is likely gonna be a top WR starting next year.`
Not sure what these other two are smoking with their remarks of "Ball hasn't did anything yet" I just stated what he did second half and the other guy has no idea about keeper values.

First, Jennings does have competition, Andre Williams is showing reason to believe he can play in the league.
CJ got a goal line carry because Ivory was done for the night with his rib injury, so I wouldn'r read much into that either.

Why don't both of you assuming clowns, take 10 minutes and look at the posts on the football boards over the past week, and search for my replies. 99 percent of the time I give paragraphs(literally, if you doubt this, let's take the time and I'll go find all the threads and you can go read and see I'm right, wrote a few that are extreme in length just in the last 24 hrs)
It's a shame people act like tool bags just because someone is honest and tells them what they are doing isn't good. Don't ask for opinions if someone doesn't like what you wanna do.
It's such a bad idea that it didn't seem it needed some in-depth explanation, that is why I started, and ended with "Awful idea."

Why wouldn't you need a wr3 for 4 weeks? All my leagues start at least 3 WR before you even get into flex spots. You need to see what kind of league before you say who cares about a WR3. But, either way you take Cam for Jeremy.
