Who to Start Message Board

No, that won't help. I can't hear (here?) the volume of your (you're?) typing here (hear?). And the text looks the same, no matter how fast you type. You do know (no?) that, right (write?)?
- Crasstastic Crasstastic Apr 12, 2015 10:19 AM Flag
What you typed here can't possibly be true. To not target owners based on their flawed thinking would be like tying one arm behind your back in a fight. Why would you constrain your own thinking like that? Surely you consider yourself a strategic fellow... why approach this in such a shallow manner?

Now this is more like it. A pure ad hominem attack that has no connection to (too?) what was being discussed. Now THIS is a proper troll post. You're (your?) learning, son.

#$%$, if you used the fact that others bet the chalk, then you did use ADP. You want that phrase to mean "I use ADP to formulate my decisions", when it can just as easily mean "I use it analyze how OTHERS formulate their decisions." Sorry to tell you, but both approaches are using ADP.

Ah, muffin, did I hurt your precious howler monkey feelings? Trolls shouldn't take things personally... they exist to (too?) extract joy as they make OTHERS take their nonsense personally. You should know (no?) that.
Now what you have to (two?) do here is create a strawman argument and call me skippy. I swear that will make me lose my mind and spend the rest of the day spamming this board in a flame war with you....
...wait, I think I just confused myself with you. No, rather, I think I'm going to NOT spend my day emulating a virgin middle-aged shut in. You?

As I said earlier, I normally consider it bad form to (too?) point out typos. However, context matters. If you're (your?) insulting someone's intelligence, in that specific context it behooves you to (two?) refrain from spelling like an inbred #$%$.

Yes, of course, because there is no difference between AA and the AL East. Good lord, how do you get yourself dressed in the morning? Do you require a caregiver to brush your teeth?
Of course, I know you don't legitimately believe that all "professional" ABs are created equal, and that your are merely trolling for attention, but still... that is some poor quality trolling. Have some respect for yourself. As a troll, you should at least attempt to fashion a reasonable argument.

So you're saying here, in regards to Desmond, that sample size matters.... that's funny. When comparing Pearce to Bautista, you were seemingly oblivious to same. Troll confirmed... none of your arguments are legitimate, you are simply fishing for human contact.

Lots of leagues don't use standard categories. There are many (and growing) leagues that use QS instead of Wins... this league does that too. Leagues that favour OBP, or OPS over BA. Leagues that are all pitching, no hitters at all.

I think you meant too slow. I normally don't point out typos, but when you're specifically insulting someone's intelligence, you should at least have a firm grasp of the English language.

His health issues, too, are overblown. Look at his ABs over the past 7 seasons.... not nearly as Tulo-esque as some seem to imply. A lot missed in 2012 (three years ago is a long time), but the big gap is the 2010 year, which (correct me if I'm wrong) was the result of a freak collision with Adrian Beltre. This is not like Jose Reyes and his chronic Hammy issues...

"There is only one version of Votto"... oh, if only that were true, and no one ever declined but kept their career averages in perpetuity, then Wade Boggs would still be playing 3B for the Sox. That's a nice dream.

Rosario has the potential to be better. Much better. But he's #2 on the 1B depth chart and #3 at C for his team. I don't know that Morneau can stay healthy, but if he goes down you pick Rosario back up again. If you play in a league with like 6 bench spots, probably not, but if you play with 2, 1... or even NO bench spots, how do you hold on to Rosario for however long it's going to take for a possible injury?

In a vacuum, I like Ellsbury more than Upton anyway... but even if I liked Upton more, they are quite close, so if you need steals I would absolutely make that deal.

"Unless you are selling an indexed annuity the averages tell the complete picture." Good line... certainly that's how I manage my resources, through one-liner slogans rather than actual critical thinking. I'd counter that unless you're bringing back the younger version of Votto who once achieved the performance that created those stats, you're going to find that his 162 game average is about as useful for the 2015 season as the 162 game average of the now deceased Babe Ruth. After a steady 3 year decline, Votto no longer reaches ANY of those marks. Do you play in a league that scores based on career stats? I don't. My league only counts 2015 stats.
