You can find alot of guys on the waiver wire to 'fill your stats'. If it were me I'd try to trade 2 guys for an upgrade. Wouldn't feel very good with Arrieta and Wood as my aces.

Teheran vs Darvish short term

I make that deal all day long. Power is at a premium. Bautista is a physical specimen so I don't think you need to worry about his age as much as other guys. Fills all categories except for steals. Cargo you can't really rely on. Trust me I've had him in other dynasty leagues and was fed up fairly quickly. You've got quite a few question marks after Stanton and Springer. Do it up.

Would you rather deal Teherán or Miller for Darvish? How do you guys view Teherán and Darvish long term in a pts league? Similar?
Someone is offering me Darvish (DL) for Miller in a dynasty 25 man roster 14tm dynasty points league. Guess he wants a warm body now. Certainly has more upside. Not the biggest Miller fan myself.

Just took over a near last place team. Looking to give it some legitimacy.
Total current keepers going into the draft: Desmond, Kemp, Dozier, Frazier, Kemp, F.Hernandez, Greinke.
I receive: Encarnacion, Reyes
I give: Desmond, Kemp
Bonus question unrelated to above:
I have Roenis Elias in a 25 man roster 14 team dynasty league. If he doesn't make the roster is he still worth rostering? I picked him up in the first few weeks of last season. Truth be told I don't know much about the Cuban hurler and his prospect status/potential. Paxton and Walker could face inconsistencies just like any young pitcher, is he worth holding onto incase he finds his way back into Seattle's rotation?

Just to specify it's the final keeper in a group consisting of [F.Hernandez, Grienke, Frazier, Desmond, Marte, Dozier]
ROTO - traditional stats
Normally I'm hesitant to keep relievers of catchers unless they're the creme de la creme. However the situation I'm currently in (taking over a team that finished in the bottom 3) it's really the only option I have, atleast for 3/4.
I myself am not a beginner, but i'm commish of a league where the majority are getting into fantasy baseball, and a few who are distant to baseball themselves but enjoy the competition involved (majority are familiar with fantasy leagues in general though)
Looking for the easiest set-up that will be easy to understand aswell as not scaring people off from updating their rosters mid-season.
First instinct is to go with H2H pts. That way some of the more novice guys can just go and see one stat (pts) on the free agent market and see who has the most. Rather than trying to get break down which stats they need for what position etc.
I've taken part in PTS leagues, but have never set one up myself so looking for advice to make sure it's balanced aswell as making it relatively simple.
