yea I actually pulled the trigger, but cut a SP that wasn't needed instead. i'm holding him while i have the roster space, might get lucky and swap him into one of my NA's when Polanco gets the call up.
Brantley, I'm an indians fan but he's shown he can hit for average and I think he starts to drive the ball a bit more this year. Hunter is one slip away from a new hip.
What's your starting middle infield combination going to be after the trade? Who would Machado be replacing at 3B for you? I take Trout over Davis all day in Roto, but it would come down to what my infield looked like before and after the trade. If your worse off there, than pulling the trigger becomes a lot harder.

Currently have Schoop rostered, but COL scores a lot of runs. Head to Head Std 5 plus OFA which doesn't really come into play with your starting 2B. No MI position.
I know its not great but I took over a team in a dynasty league and I'm not looking to move the young guys I snagged (G. Polanco, Noah, Lindor, Archie Bradley, Xander, Matt Adams), because my roster is competitive without any production at 2B, (i.e. I'm winning this week unless something silly happens today).
Yea I know it isn't great, but it's what I got left with. I could have kept Pedroia with my first round pick but I tried to hit the lottery and get Miggy.
I pick 3rd, 16, 30, 43,68, 81. Rest of roster is Sale(2nd), Fernandez(26th), (QS instead of W's); Freeman(4th), B Hamilton(7th), Profar(8th), Matt Adams (25th), Bogaerts (17th)
Any strategy or advice is welcome.
Ryan Braun Mil - OF
Jacoby Ellsbury NYY - OF
Dustin Pedroia Bos - 2B
José Bautista Tor - OF
Justin Upton Atl - OF
José Reyes Tor - SS
Albert Pujols LAA - 1B
Álex Ríos Tex - OF
Allen Craig StL - 1B,OF
Joe Mauer Min - C,1B
Ryan Zimmerman Was - 3B
Yoenis Céspedes Oak - OF

Some people love hamilton, some don't. I'm in the middle, but you def take him for free.
Also he's not a one category player if he's getting on base. If he can get on consistently the reds will put him at the top of that order and then he's got a lot of fire power to drive him in. If he hits .260 he may win you SB and score 80 runs plus. For a free pick you can't beat that.
Plus you don't need Bailey if you're keeping Strasburg, Wacha, Salazar, Miller. I would save the money and try to grab another ace in the draft.
cingrani is a great value for free as well, but i think you gotta take hamilton in that situation. throw another elite SP in your mix and you can concentrate on offense the rest of your draft.
