Yeah, it is appearance not start per se. All he has to do is record some stat from a game for it to be considered for minimum game requirements. It doesn't have to be for the full 60 mins. Think about goalies that come in for relief, it is the same thing.

Second, your D sucks and your goaltending will be good for a few wins, that is it. How good your team is heavily dependent upon which categories are counted as well.
