They must have, because every time I made the edits to try and balance the scoring, it was reflected in the player point totals from this year and last year. So I'm pretty sure they allowed it.

Hey all, I need one or two more teams for a H2H points league, redraft. We're starting scoring in the first week of January. Here's the pertinent information:
Roster: C, C, LW, LW, RW, RW, D, D, D, D, Util, Util, G, G, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, IR, IR
Goals: 2 points
Faceoff wins: 0.25
Faceoff losses: -0.25
Goals against: -0.5
Give me your email in this thread and I'll send along the invite. BUY-IN WILL LIKELY BE $50. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year everyone!
Anyone else? It's a one year, H2H points league. So far this season in our league CarGo has 230 points, Longo has 180. Strasburg has 156 points, Leake has 182. In other words, if I were trading for the first half, I would lose this trade by over 75 points.
One year, H2H points
Closers worth a lot...7 points per save (same as wins)
Team A gets: Robinson Cano, Austin Jackson, Shane Victorino, David Ortiz, Mariano Rivera
Team B gets: Carlos Gonzalez, Ian Kinsler, Albert Pujols, Carlos Gomez
One year league, H2H points (saves worth 7 points, same as wins for SPs)
Team A gives: Cano, Austin Jackson, Shane Victorino, Mariano Rivera, David Ortiz
Team B gives: Albert Pujols, Ian Kinsler, Carlos Gonzalez, Carlos Gomez
Straight value, without knowing the rest of the situation, would you do this?
I give: Robinson Cano, Austin Jackson, Shane Victorino, Mariano Rivera
I get: Ian Kinsler, Carlos Gonzalez, Yoenis Cespedes
Nah, I would've preferred to have drafted my own team. Plus I'm not looking for a keeper league, and with the amount of teams and scoring settings this seems way over my head. Sorry.
Looking to join another league. My preferences are daily lineup changes, H2H points, one year, standard live draft. Of course I'm flexible, and will do a categories league if the categories make sense. Let me know if you need another team!
One year league, H2H points.
My OF is Cruz, Hunter, and Domonic Brown. Yikes. My backup 1B is Eric Hosmer. My pitching staff is the following:
SP: Kershaw, Hamels, Sale, Lynn, Miller, Ryu
RP: Jim Johnson, Kevin Herrera, Kenley Jansen, Addison Reed
Here's the deal:
I give: Prince Fielder, Cole Hamels, Jim Johnson
I get: Bryce Harper, Matt Moore
Downgrade at SP, serious upgrade at OF, downgrade at 1B (but still have Hosmer) and downgrade at RP. Overpaying? Or is it worth it considering my pitching and my OF situation?
One year league, H2H points. Here's the situation: currently I have Prince Fielder as my 1b, Hosmer as a backup. My OF is a mess with Cruz, Hunter, and Domonic Brown. I have the best SP rotation in the league with Kershaw, Hamels, and Sale as my 3 anchors, with Lynn and Miller as backups.
I'm wondering if the following is too much of an overpayment to fix the OF situation:
I give: Fielder, Sale
I get: Harper, Matt Harvey
No kidding, but nothing I can do about it now. I can't quit the league because I didn't do enough research beforehand. That's not fair to everyone else. I'm trying to salvage what could be a #$%$ season.
No, not one point per category. It's more like: 1 point for singles, 2 points for doubles, 3 points for triples, 4 for home run, etc. And for pitchers: 1 point for inning pitched, 0.5 for K's, 7 for wins, -7 for losses, etc.
It's not. My offense is pretty terrible, or at least the OF is. It's Mauer, Ike Davis, Cano, Lawrie, and Tulo. The OF is terrible. What happened was the commish only gave us 30 seconds per pick, and I didn't have time to do the usual google search on the players. I ended up with a lot of guys who are either hurt or were sent back down.
This is for a one year, H2H points league. Point categories are pretty standard. If I give up Felix, my pitching looks like this: Cliff Lee, Julio Teheran, Jarrod Parker, Jeremy Hellickson, James McDonald, Shelby Miller. AKA...yikes. Thoughts?
