Little. I don't get the love affair for Niskanen. He's not going to be + 33 on Washington. With Carlson and Green(even somewhat healthy), he isn't even the main weapon, like he was most of last year in Pittsburgh. He's going to be hard pressed to come even lose to what he did last year.
Kuemper or Allen. I think both teams are going to ride the hot goalie, unfortunately Backstrom has been injured much more than he's been hot the past few years. I still wouldn't rule out Allen. He plays on the better team and he is ready, its just a matter of how much of a fight Elliott puts up for starts. IMO, If you have 2 other quality goalies, I'd be fine with either. Slight edge to Kuemper due to the Backstrom factor.

I'd go with Giroux, but its close. In both cases, I think it boils down to who that 3rd player ends up playing with Giroux-Simmonds/Voracek and JT/Okposo. If you do go with Tavares, I personally wouldn't suggest reaching for Okposo, just because you drafted Tavares.. If he's the best player on the board, or close to it, then yea. draft him. If +/- is counted, I'd be a little more cautious, though.
Just TB and Fla? For TB...As mentioned below, Drouin, but not sure how much of a sleeper he is. There's too much expectation surrounding him, he's not really going to be flying too much below the radar in drafts. It'll be tricky figuring out when to grab him without reaching too far. I think Panik and Kucherov are probably better sleepers. Depending on circumstance, either could put up good numbers, while they'll probably be one of your last picks, depending how deep your league is.
For Fla...Huberdeau, but I kind of view him the same a Drouin. I think most people view last year as a sophomore slump. I have to agree with Hayes, plus I'll add Pirri.
You're talking about offline drafts, then. I've seen pick times in those as much as 24 hrs. Online pick times are usually anywhere between 30 seconds to 2 minutes. I'm also talking strictly hockey. Fantasy hockey is all I play, so maybe football does it totally different, I don't know.
Well, thanks for sharing some of your infinite wisdom, which BTW is absolutely useless. But, considering all your other posts, I really wouldn't expect much more from you.
16 team H2H, teams can only keep one goalie. SV and SA aren't counted so I'm leaning towards Niemi. GS, W, GAA, S% and SHO are the categories. I have a couple weeks to submit keepers so its not a pressing issue, yet. Just want some outside opinions, because I'm not sure how SJ views Niemi going into this season.

It is what it is, different people have different opinions on player ranks. Personally, depending on settings, I'm not too high on dmen, so I do agree that PK is high. Same with Karlsson. They both should be back somewhere near Weber, Keith and Doughty.
I wouldn't say Backstrom is ridiculously low, like Thornton and Sedin, his forte is assists. Backstrom does get PPP, though. He has a bit more value in keeper leagues due to age, but the center position is loaded with players that cover more categories.
A couple that stood out to me is Neal(#35) and Lucic(#78). If anything I think they need to swap ranks. Lucic is fantasy gold, while Neal's scoring will take a hit in Nashville.

I agree with Tom. Assists and PP Points are the only categories that really favour Backstrom. I'd definitely try to trade Backstrom, if you can.

I think its a toss up between Zuccarello and Huberdeau. I think their point totals will be roughly the same, with Huberdeau scoring a bit more goals, while Zuccarello should have the better +/-.
Strome is really a wildcard right now, but is probably starting somewhere on the third line. Lee and Nelson are more likely the frontrunners for the top 6, but if either falter, Strome should be next in line.
