Oh wow...just noticed Yahoo inserted the ^ symbol for starting goalies. Don't know when it actually started but glad it was implemented.

I'm not familiar either. I've been pretty much running the norm but notice the 3&OUT in the commish tools scoring system. Curious if anyone has used it.

Thanks for the quick reply......I'm thinking the 3&OUT category will be a game changer on how to pick DEF. Curious on how to score it. My DEF scoring setup is pretty similar to yours. Another thought was to get rid of Point Allowed and replace it with Total Yards Against.

Is anyone using this system? Kind of curious what the top 5 teams are that lead this category and what's the average 3 & out per game. People in the league want Kickers and Defense gone next year. I'm still trying to think of ways to keep them and the 3 & out option might be a nice start.
What scoring system do you use for Kickers and Defense that's not the norm for yahoo leagues??

Also wanted to point out that you will usually see an "X" on fielders who decide to have a day off on the very same day. It isn't hard to get this working right.

you just said it yourself....."because goalies aren't confirmed until typically the morning skate", I check my team everyday, so if they have to add the caret to the goaltenders by afternoon, it's still will work.

The apps sounds cool and all but I'm just a computer guy. I don't have a smartphone or tablet. Like we both agree on, they need this caret symbol for Goaltenders to show them starting or not.
This symbol is used in Fantasy Baseball to let you know if someone is starting that day. This is useful especially for pitchers. This is my 1st year in F.Hockey and this symbol would be really useful for the goaltenders. They either start or don't, but it would help to see this symbol to make decisions easier than to go search the internet to see if this particular goaltender is playing.
So far this season, I ended up with 2 goalies with shutouts on my bench. 3 goaltenders had a game yesterday, but only 2 played. Of course the guy sitting was in my starting spot.
