Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

Who are those 3 other players though? That makes a big difference IMO. I'd personally rather have Mirotic unless you are really chasing assists. Mudiay has upside as high if not higher than any other rookie this season. But you never really know how that's going to pan out in year 1.
I think Mirotic in the new coach's system in Chicago is a little more reliable, although there are still questions with him since Chicago has a crowded front court when healthy.

My bad, I just assumed you were talking about pre draft rankings because you said, "but I see that pre-draft ranking is not on my side."
Also, the all vs are thing makes a lot more sense now lol.
I guess I just disagree on dropping Jrue being an "insane" move in a 10 team league. He played a maximum of half the season in each of the last two years, and I believe a lot of his best value in that time came with Eric Gordon out. I really like Jrue and in a perfect world he does have top 40 potential. But his injury was serious. Last report I read said the Pelicans are going to limit him to 15 MPG until at least January. Factor all that with Evans, Gordon and Cole all being able to control the ball and I wouldn't say that considering dropping him is insane.
But to each his own. I'd be interested in seeing what type of big someone in your league would be willing to trade for Jrue. If you do make a move you should update this post, I'd be curious to see how others value him.

1st off, the pre draft rankings are for 1 year leagues and do not take into account future potential so in dynasty you can't rely on them that heavily. 2nd, You've been in this league for six years and don't know how the rookie draft works? Can't help you with that one.
Lastly, I think right now is a bad time for you to try to trade Holiday or Lawson. WIth Lawson's off court issues an the unknown of how he'll play with Harden, people will probably be hesitant to give you full value for him. And Jrue simply hasn't proven he can stay healthy yet. I have Jrue in a dynasty league and it sucks because when healthy he can be a beast, especially in an uptempo ALvin Gentry system (hopefully) but with his current struggles his trade value just isn't there. But my league is a 16 teamer, so in a 10 teamer I'd have to take a seriously look at the FA's and possibly drop Jrue if he's not getting full minutes or if he doesn't play back to backs.
I posted this towards the end of last season, but now that we are much closer, which 5 players would you keep in a 12 team h-2-h keeper league with standard 9 categories?
I'm feeling like Conley or Favors might be my weakest link, but I also feel like they will both have better seasons than they did last year. But everyone seems to be in agreement that both Gobert and Drummond are in prime position to improve upon their last season, while Bledsoe should be pretty solid, and George has way too high of upside for me to get rid of, especially after stashing him on my bench all last year.

I agree that Westbrook has to be highly considered there as well. Although if Durant stays healthy I don't see Westy being as dominant as he was last year. I'd personally go with Durant at 4, but I wouldn't knock you for taking any of those guys.
I've seen a few posts of people needing others to join their league and they list the Yahoo league ID#, league name and password so people can join. But I can't for the life of me find where I'm supposed to enter that information anymore?
Whenever Yahoo changes their setup it takes me twice as long to figure things out compared to most people lol. Any help? I just need to know how to get to that page they used to have where you can enter league ID's and such.
The closest I can find is on the main page it says "get another team" but all those are just public leagues that you click on, no way to search for a specific one?
Also, if anyone is looking for a dedicated manager for a h-2-h non keeper league this year (any size, and settings) I'm interested in joining 1 more!

For me it would be between Whiteside and Rose. I really like Matthews, but his injury is still a concern for me, and his value takes a little hit in a no % league since he has nice %'s. Whiteside's value probably doesn't change much, since his high FG% doesn't help you, but his low FT% doesn't hurt you.
I think Rose's high volume/low percentage shooting gets the biggest benefit from no %'s, and unless I really needed blocks I'd personally go with him.

Probably the team that got what they wanted out of the deal. But, if Durant stays healthy and D-Will doesn't suck like last year then I'd probably rather have that side.

Forgot to add why... He was already a beast, and now is going to be in a fantasy friendly up tempo system and his coach won't stop gushing about him. He should be utilized better this season. Not to mention all the updates from the summer about his improvements on both sides of the court, his 3 point range and his body are very promising.

I would probably go with those same 5: Curry, Harden, Leonard, Millsap and Oladipo. Although I'd definitely consider taking Bledsoe over Oladipo.
As far as your trades go, I'd accept any of them in a heartbeat if I were getting your side (except maybe the Paul George one if you have any concerns about his health).
But looking at it from the other manager's perspective I'm not sure they'd want to make those moves. If you had Kevin Durant would you want to trade him for Kawhi and VO? Doubt it.
