    Okay, I’m really wanting to trade with another managers team, I’m currently sitting in first place out of a 12 man league, the scoring is as follows:
    Skaters: Goals (3pts), assists (2pts), +/- (1/-1 pts), shots (0.4pts), PIMS (0.5pts/min), PPP (1pts)
    Goalies: Saves (0.2pts/save), GA (-1pts/goal), wins (4pts), shutouts (2pts)

    Here’s my current roster -- starting lineup and bench included

    Marian Gaborik (RW)--injured 2-4 weeks

    I’m looking to shed a goalie.. And perhaps a top d man, preferably Chris Pronger, not because he has had a slow start, but I have more faith in the other two to be more productive while at the same time being under-rated in comparison to Pronger

    Now, to remind everyone, the games played works the same as rotisserie leagues, just a different points system, so with that in mind, the opponent I’m wanting to trade with will end up the season under on the Goalie games, and most likely under on the center games. I’m trying to muster up the best trade possible between the two of us, to seem most appealing to him, but most favorable for me of course, in the long run.

    So far, this is what I’ve come up with..

    under almost any circumstance i would take this trade if it was available, Havlat is a solid player, if he stays healthy.. he's on the second PP unit, and plays with Marleau and Clowe, vs. Parise who is on first PP and Kovi is still out. and Parise can play, the only thing that's hindering jersey is the O system.. but the trade up value is there.

    at the end of the day it's all about what you feel confident in. If you're not really sold on holding on to Backes then i say deal him, value wise you might be able to get a better tender than him like Broduer or Brian Elliot.. generally i would be shopping around for a tender in the ownership area of around 80%.. you might even be able to get someone like Kipper or hiller for Backes depending on the other teams needs.

    JVR actually started the season on Giroux's line, and got canned, he only played there...

    JVR actually started the season on Giroux's line, and got canned, he only played there today because Jagr is injured.. JVR will have value in the future, but Benn has value now.. he is one of the best young players in the league. and Simmonds.. well.. i guess its a 16 team league.. but yeah, i wouldn't take that trade any day.. even if Benn was slumping.

    Kessel, Rinne, and Duchene, is possible, if Kessel cools down. you might need to offer one more guy of medium value.. or even offer Ovi Richards and Lupol for Kessel Rinne and Duchene,

    Commish shouldn't have last word on whether or not a trade goes through, they basically control how well the teams other than his do. and clearly he's working his own agenda here.. what happened to the last leader to do that? Gaddafi? what?
    ha, no , either way.. it shouldn't be veto'd.. it's two slumping players.. for one hot one.. it's a fair trade as far as vetoing goes.. whether or not it's actually something you wanna do is a different question. wait till both of your players increase in value. and do you need a c/rw? because you're losing a lw/rw and a rw with this..

    you're pretty weak at center.. and I don't necessarily know if i would have traded...

    you're pretty weak at center.. and I don't necessarily know if i would have traded Skinner and Bryzy for Semin and Miller.. you're really feeling the brunt of that deal now.
    you have good position eligibility in most of your players, but yeah, your centers (who usually put up the most fan points every year) are pretty weak.. i would try trading a goalie, you have 4 top starters at the moment and Jose Theos value is high, sell high.. buy low with a player like that.
