  A trade has been proposed to me: I give up Getzlaf/Del Zotto and receive C. Smith/Quincey ...

  A trade has been proposed to me: I give up Getzlaf/Del Zotto and receive C. Smith/Quincey in my 1 yr league. Stats: G,A,+/-,PIM, PPP, SOG.
  
  Even with a vast improvement in stats, I don't see Getzlaf doing much, so am not upset about letting him go - also, my C and C-eligible players can cover me.
  
  However, I am not sure about C. Smith or Quincey....given his roster, can I improve the players I get in return. Maybe get a better D or G, along with Smith?

  I am in a Yahoo league. Is it possible to pick a FA who is on IR. I'd need to drop som...

  I am in a Yahoo league. Is it possible to pick a FA who is on IR. I'd need to drop someone when he can play again, but I thought I could pick the IR guy and hold him (w/o dropping someone now). Can I do that? If so, how can I do it? Thank You
