They were a playoff team last year...they're a playoff team this year. Pretenders don't make the playoffs in MLB. I'm the biggest Cub fans there is. I'm not saying they're going to win it all just because they have the best record, but this is MLB. If you make the playoffs you are definitely a good team - capable of winning it all. Unlike the NBA where just about any team can make it to the post-season.

The only way Jimmy Rollins is getting into the HOF is as a visitor. He had 1 MVP, and only 4 Gold Gloves....not HOF worthy.
12 team H2H Standard 5X5...I'm currently in 2nd place, 3 games back.

Depends. Is this a keeper/dynasty or just for ROS?
With no info to go on the question is..."is your team better off with Machado after trading 2 stud aces and Cutch".

Unless it makes sense from a roster perspective to go with Arrietta, I'd have to go with Seager -- and I'm a CUBS fan! A SS that will hit 35+ HR, score 100R, 100RBI is a tremendous boost to your daily lineup. As much as I love Jake, I would much rather have that bat in my lineup everyday filling up the stats.

They both suck...at least Hamilton will give you a chance to win SB, but I wouldn't want him in my starting lineup unless the other hitters are putting up big stats to.

No reason to veto this trade in a keeper league. "Anderson ranked as Baseball Prospectus' No. 19 overall prospect entering the 2016 season."
Anderson probably has no value this season but he could very well be a starter for the White SOx next season.
If this deal was only for ROS...I would call it a complete BS deal.

Nunez is a great upgrade at SS and clearly better than either Castro or Schoop.
So the real issue is "do I trade Fernandez for Price".
i would do it...Price appears to be getting better as the season progresses.

Well if teams with better pitching have an easier time winning...why in the world would you want Harvey? Greinke is Cy Young when compared to Harvey...and you're nuts to give up Arenado for Cutch.
