I meant Toronto...sorry. But like I said, he's usually on the DL by now...seems to me they told him to forget about SB...he has ZERO attempts.

I'm not surprised at all. I've always avoided Lawrie in my drafts but I can see why KC wouldn't want him running. They've got a good team this year and Lawrie is far more valuable to them as a power hitter. He is usually on the DL by now...so maybe that's why they told him not to run this year.

Don't listen to "everyone"...lol. It's somewhat surprising that he has no SB attempts...but if you thought he was going to get 20SB you were just not paying attention to his past performance. He had 13SB in 2012 and 9SB in 2013. He gets caught stealing quite often...so maybe they just pulled the plug on him.

Lowrie is just downright horrible. I would take that trade especially if you are strong at Closer and losing Doolittle doesn't cause another problem for you. Shelby Miller has been FA material most of the season so he's not a big loss for you and is replaceable thru FA.

If you drafted Hamilton - you wasted a draft pick - that is exactly what I kept telling people in Feb & March. There is no way in hell Hamilton is worthy of being drafted in the 6th round. Every year there are at least 1 or 2 SB guys that do what Gordon is doing. All this nonsense about Hamilton getting 100 SB is crazy.

I was one of the harshest critics of Billy Hamilton here. I still stand by all my earlier comments. He is NOT worth a SIX round draft pick. Ironically his BA is .278. That's is the same BA for Dee Gordon. Dee Gordon has 38R, Billy has 33. Dee Gordon has 37SB Billy has 28. Dee Gordon is out Billy Hamiltoning the highly over rated Billy Hamilton and Gordon was a free agent pickup. lol

Not sure how you tell who is more valuable "in a vacuum". It really depends of what your team needs. If we're talking about a redraft or keeper...I'd go with Max, but for ROS...it would depend on team need.
