As for Jovo and Schnieder.. Theres a couple ways to look at it.. IF you drop them and someone else picks them up, for the most part they will be dropping another dman..
ANd try searching for a dman.. If its a 12 team league times 4 dmen per team.. thats only 48 dmen spoken for out of 180 the NHL has..
Try searching for dmen using the average stats option..Cam Barker may be out there or Zidlicky etc.... And for the record Jovo and Schnieder are both available in my public league..
Add and drop a dman every day until you find one you like..

You would have them worrying about way to much in my opinion. If any goalie they should go after it should be Kolzig and his small salary and easier to rid of when Marty is back..
But again I will say that its Weekes job to lose.. He won last night and only alllowed two goals the previous game.. I say so far he is doing quite well.. If they need to do anything it is to improve their Dmen..not their goalie situation..

Im in a private league and there were apparently two managers inactive. Another manager mentioned it and the commish said he would replace them.. I asked him how he planned on doing this as I have never heard of such. He said he has magic. I have been a commish for a couple years and a manager since 02. And I have never heard of managers getting replaced. Most leagues ask for active mangers so they dont have inactive managers..
Is it possible to replace managers..??
This happened last night and all of a sudden the tow new managers are trading with the Commish. And their emails are hidden now under managers.. and all three(commish and two new managers) made transaction within 30mins..
I personally think its smells fishy but dont want to call out the commish on it until I have solid proof. He wanted this to be a dynasty league..

To have IR players on an active roster spot is a total waste, especially in a small roster public league with tons of talent in F/A..
A player plays an average 3 games a week.. For every week you have an IR on your roster is a chance of another player earning you stats and helping you move up the standings..
The same applies to having two soplid goalies you can rely on,, to many teams role with 3 goalies.. But in my opinion that again takes away from your forward and Dmen stats...

Another great tool in the players option is to click on the average stats..that shows you what players are doing per game..some havent played the full season and their ranking isnt high yet..
Maybe also if you dont have any dmen goons you may want to try pims dman.. Click on dmen only option and then click on pims stat and see who is available that way..
Use this as an opportunity to play around in the F/A.. You would be surprised who you can get..

If your in a public league you should role with 3 c's,3rw's,3lw's and then maybe a multi position player such as Bouchard,Doan, etc.. as they come available and thats saying your only running with two goalies.. If you have 3 goalies than you would only have 3 players from each postion and 4 Dmen..
