Commissioner Corner Message Board
Aroldis Chapman picked up a save in the completion of the suspended game from Friday night today (Saturday) , but Yahoo is not showing the save. This has huge playoff implications in a head to head league and cannot wait until Monday, when our playoffs start, to be corrected. What gives/

Wow....that is terrible. Then starting pitchers shouldn't get losses when relievers give up inherited runs!!!! Bottom line is he entered a game with a one run lead, hit one batter, threw a wild pitch, then got a cheap bunt out and leaves and blows the lead but he gets rewarded.

They finally moved him there. They had a note first, then an hour later, put the non playing X next to his name, then half an hour later made him NA......finally, on strike FOUR they have DL'd him. Geez!

Normally, you would just go to the draft window and everyone who logs in will be there to draft, but Yahoo is having major problems with drafts as we speak and they say they should have it fixed shortly, so that might be why your managers aren't there right now.
What will happen with the stats for the suspended game? I play in a H2H league and Wada was already credited with a W against me. What if the Giants win the resumed game? Will the Wada win be taken away in H2H leagues or will that be a stat correction for next week and only affect roto leagues? Playoffs on the line in a very tough league!
Today's Giants-Rockies game is suspended and I have three Rockies and two Giants on my team and I play in a head to head league. Yahoo says that today's stats will count for the h2h matchup and when the game is resumed in September, the stats will be applied retroactively to all but h2h leagues. My question is will what happens after the resumption count for me for that day in the h2h series I am in in September? So Cuddyer is on first in the game, if he scores, will I get that run in September?

It's up to you to move them to your team's DL and replace them on your roster. If you don't know how to do it, drag the DL'd player down below your bottom position and a DL spot (if your league has one) will appear.

He physically left the field of play with a one run lead, but also left men on base, which are his responsibility. One came in to score, which tied the game. Why is he rewarded for blowing a save? If the game gets tied and the runs count against the pitcher, he should not get a hold, especially when he retired one of five batters.

I wouldn't "blame" yourself for this. Streaming has and always will be a big part of many managers strategies. I don't do it much, unless I am well behind in ERA and WHIP, but many in my leagues do. The only issue I have is when guys take a pitcher, then bench him, then cut him after the game starts, so no one else can grab him. If it's in the rules, it's okay, but if many in your league are complaining, then change it for next year, and let them know "can't change rules mid stream, but we address this for next season"
Mujica faced five batters and gave up three hits and a walk and was charged with two runs, tying the game at 6-6 and he gets credit for a hold??????? David Robertson had a legit win taken away two weeks ago because the official scorer said he "pitched poorly". This Mujica hold has playoff implications. Ridiculous!

I felt this was a terrible call by the official scorer, especially in light of all the cheap holds guys get by giving up two runs, but getting only one out, and they get rewarded. Robertson did give up three runs, but pitched an entire inning and left with his team tied. the exemption rule states "a brief appearance" but a full three outs is not "brief". They took the lead the next inning and Rivera came on to retire the side for what should have been a save for him, but is now a win. Awful!
Anyone watch the Braves-Marlins game tonight? Julio Teheran gave up four runs and only one was earned, but there are no Atlanta errors or wild pitches or passed balls showing in the box score. I am in a tight ERA battle and this would be huge. Is something missing from the box score? Thanks.........

I play in a league where we use individual defensive players. The Colts Jerrel Freeman showed 11 pts all day and now he has zero!
Do they ever do corrections on here? Charles Tillman forced a fumble in the game tonight, then recovered it and they have only credited him with the recovery. He literally punched the ball out, so there is no question he deserves the "forced fumble" too!
