Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

Unless this is a dynasty or keeper league, I don't understand how you got this roster.
As far as I can tell, that's a very good team for a 10-team league. Also, if the Floyd on your bench is a Cardinal and not a Charger, your team is already in the playoffs. BTW, your buddies can't play all the QBs they drafted. They can only play one, and with your bench, one of them is gonna come creeping in the late night hours for some kind of trade-nookie.

Obviously a popular question Anthony. I agree with the majority consensus: take Julio if you're going for upside, take Green if you to maximize your chances of getting what you pay for. It's that simple, don't overthink it. Good Luck!

I agree with Matt (largely). The logic you presented is sound, but this is not the deal for you. Forte may indeed be at his peak, but what a peak! And your league is PPR as well?!! Sell high on Forte if you have to, but for the love of Mike, keep Floyd, who looks like a budding star already. Also, sell Forte for someone better like Giovanni Bernard or my favorite: Andre Ellington. If you offer the trade today, the Elligton owner will probably make the deal and give you some change for your trouble because he's not really established yet. Good Luck!

I agree with Brent. If you HAVE to trade for Thomas, keep Giovanni and trade the muscle hamster. There is something unconvincing about Martin's performance since his injury and Gio should be a monster in a PPR league. But personally, I would keep Martin AND Giovanni and I would pick up the Chief's TE (Kelce, or something like that). I like Reed this year, and TE performance outside of Gronk and Graham is so close together that it doesn't matter who you have.

I would need to know the roster size, but a THIRTY team league???
The size of your league alone makes this a competitive offer. Try to get a younger pitcher like Dallas K, or Kluber, and another OF like Joc Pederson or Polanco...but if you get those tweaks you need to do the deal!

Yes. No matter what league you're in, when a pitcher craps the bed, you drop him before you commit the colossal error of putting him in for " a good matchup."
Sucky pitchers don't have good match-ups. Sucky pitchers suck.

you need to accept the trade before the other guy comes to his sense. Altuve is producing in at least 3 categories, and gives you the steals you need. Hosmer is a mystery wrapped in a riddled swaddled in a big cloth diaper smelling more than faintly of...poop. Shields will outpitch Shark. Shark's numbers are not sustainable, not to mention the absolutely HORRIFIC lack of run support for pitchers at Wrigley. Do the trade. You'll than me later.
