You can do that James but you need to look ahead and keep that position spot empty so said pickup can be inserted into starting lineup...I do this with my DE and DT's weekly....don't roster them unless they are needed in a close game then I look at Sunday and Monday night DE and DT's for those quick few points if needed. otherwise I just keep the spots empty since they are lower scoring positions and heap up on the offensive players. I'm pretty boss and 90% of the time I can beat my opponents every week with only about 1/2 to 2/3 of my total IDP spots actually filled. :D

Yahoo will extend WHIP out past the 1.21 when tied to determine who wins the category....this should be found by clicking on each of your little blue highlighted tied WHIP totals in the team matchup page. My guess is his whip is something like 1.21355 while yours is 1.21786 which would give him the category....this same exact thing happened in one of my leagues.
I have return yards counting in all my leagues....Sure your league counts them? Stupid question I know but you wouldn't believe how many schlubs come on here screaming about return yards not showing up and ends up their leagues don't count them.
