You answered your own question. If you dont want to trade then don't. You're really making a bigger deal out of this than needed to be, since you don't want to trade. And to be fair, if he has offered bogus trade proposals, send a couple back. Whatever the player you need, look at your roster and see who you can replace or upgrade at.
