Typically it is random. The commissioner has the ability to set the draft order, though, I believe it will tell the league that the commissioner set the draft order. Otherwise by default it's random

    In need of replacement managers.
Not sure if taking over a team in a keeper league is what you'd like, but maybe it'll be intriguing for you. Very organized and active league. Information below will support that claim.

It's not an 18-20 team league, however, this is a very active keeper league. And if you're unable to find a 18-20 league you really want maybe this league is appealing for you?

Drafted roster, what do you think?

    by Antonio Aug 25, 2013 2:15 AM
Antonio Antonio Aug 26, 2013 2:54 AM Flag

I can understand the worry of having players of the same team, and the potential and the limited. Greg Jennings I figured was the best at the time and didn't pay attention much to him and AP being on the same team. WR I am fine with being weakest at, like Daniel stated, I'd rather have to need WR than RB or any other position. Which is why I chose Gonzalez early over a WR pick.

Thank you for the replies, help, advice, and support. Hopefully I'll be able to put together a package to get another solid WR2.

It kind of depends on the price you spent on players, however, based on the roster a) it is very nice for a starting roster, but bench isn't all ideal I.e. Bradshaw b) based on the starting compared to bench I can figure where the money went.

I think this starting roster is set up very nicely. Hopefully lynch doesn't slow this season, miller develops in Miami, and rudolph should be ok at TE especially for who you have surrounding him. I like Myers also. Like any team health is key, but health is the if factor for you I think. Nice work

Help? "drafted roster, what do you think?"

I would say 4000 yards and 20TD I think it was for Palmer in Oakland last year is kind of impressive. However, I do like the st. Louis WR for bradford...but it is bradford... And I didn't even think he should have won the heisman... Keep in mind that both QB will be facing the Seattle and San Fran defenses. And it's possible that the st. Louis young WR will be exploited more, and maybe as a QB Palmer will be better against these defenses.

Lacy, mendenhall. Lacy has the opportunity and in a good offense. Mendenhall just for respect and him being the #1 RB now for Arizona. Ivory I like, but the jets I don't. Bradshaw, avoid unless it's a cheap cheap price

Help on mine? "drafted roster, what do you think?"

Stafford is solid because you focused on RB/WR early. I like the TE. Not over other possibilities but for where you focused he is a compliment pick. And not against Cameron. Wouldn't surprise me if TE needs upgrading later, however, like I said you focused a strength elsewhere so he's fine based on your roster. Amendola, I liked for past seasons....injuries always concerning with him keep in mind. Arizona is ok for defense. Not to stellar but not a middle plus. More middle, especially facing Seattle and San Fran a total of 4 times in division, but if Wilson and kaep tank it could be a good defensive team to have division wise

Definetly have depth at WR, and some WR/RB trade chips if you need, but overall I like. MJD/amendola are who I'm looking to trade if need be. Just because of injury or team situation

Help on my post? "drafted roster, what do you think?"

Some solid strength and depth at RB/WR should be able to trade players like lacy, miller, amendola if/when you need to determine the upgrades and needs of your roster.

When do I draft a DEF?

Antonio Antonio Aug 25, 2013 2:19 PM Flag

Round 8 is fine if you can get Seattle or teams a like. Once a DEF is picked the wagons follow, and don't be the 6th or 7th wagon in line. I'm fine with round 8 being the time. Depending on the draft and how it is going be open to a round 7 DEF pick if that's when it starts. Normally I would say don't be in the line of when DEF are drafted, but of they are favored for scoring be ready

In the past being weakest at WR has worked out for me. I agree Wilson will be a factor to make or break me this season. But, if the WR drafted each could in theory be solid #2WR types I think it'll be ok
