You can't predict the future. Everyone has there own opinion, just because someone disagrees with you or has a different view on something does not make them an "idiot" or "ignorant."

I actually won my fantasy baseball league last year, and I am not mathematically ignorant. You just have a different perspective on how one should build there team. The way I see it I could have 3 BN hitters and 3 BN SP but I believe that SP are more likely to help me then hitters. This is because hitters have a CHANCE of helping me if they gets hits hr rbis runs etc..but pitchers are almost guaranteed to help me in Ks, have a 50% chance of getting me a win and then have a chance of helping me in era and whip. Also, what are those players likely to produce, say monday and thursdays I put them in realistically those 3 bench guys in 2 days would probably get me 2-3 hrs, maybe 5-6 rbi and runs and 1 or 2 steals and thats being generous. I believe those extra bench spots should be used to help my team where it is weaker which i believe is pitching. I think my batters are strong enough to live without those extra stats i would get if i had more hitters. If not then I can drop one of my pitchers that doesn't pan out, and add a hitter from the waiver wire. Thats what you call managing your team.

Why would I need more bats when MLB teams play almost everyday? Those extra players would just be riding my bench. Extra SP only have a chance of hurting me in two cats, whip and era. Also, I don't intend to keep Polanco or A-rod just took them late in the draft, will probably pick up whoever heats up at the start of the year.
