This is not right. My closer pitched Sept 1 in that game....not May 22nd. He got the save. Now it's been removed.
By that logic, when there is a doubleheader played, the original game that was supposed to be played at an earlier date should not count for current stats........but it does. Totally inconsistent rule.
I can understand not applying the stats to the earlier date, in H2H leagues where that weeks match-up has been decided long ago, but not giving a player stats for a CURRENT performance is pure B.S. He played TODAY. He should be credited TODAY!
Click on a player or pitcher and you get to the page, but there are no batter vs. pitcher stats, and there are no "last 10" stats. Is this just happening to me?
How does the play-by-play work. Who tracks and enters the data, a ten yr.old???
Total at bats missing, 2-out innings etc. scores wrong, and this is EVERY DAY.
Here is todays 1st mess:
Bal. game 3rd Inning C.Davis up, bases loaded. My line up in stat-T says he's 1-for-2 with a run scored and 4 rbis.....the scoring tab says he got a double and drove in 3... never scoring himself.......the play by play says he doubled and drove in 2...but did not score himself. His only other AB was a K, so no chance to drive in/score any runs there.
ESPN scores say he hit a grand-slam home run accounting for the 4 rbi's the run scored, and the 1-for 2 hitting. This is just ONE ERROR..........there are many many others
The other issue with stat-tracker is that whole game s just 'freeze-up' and don't even report a pitch for 30 minutes (no rain delay) then all of a sudden it catches up. Terrible application this year, especially!

OK I get the rule, but the poster said the 2nd guy was thrown OUT at home, so why would anybody be charged with a run that never scored????............unless the fact that the 3rd runner who got on via the fielder's choice play scored later that inning....but that was never mentioned in the original post
I'm talking about how often it seems a basehit is almost a guarantee following a home run. I've seen it happen a bunch of times just this week alone and have watched for this "phenomenon" for years now, but I've never seen any official stat on how often it happens. Of course doubles or triples also count.
Just feels like it's half the time or more

May not be anything wrong. You could put your whole team on the bench if you want to..........but you can only roster the number of players yahoo defaults to...or your league allows. Just count the number of players on those teams. There is no way to scam the roster limit.
I've had 4 'no drop' players (2 offense, 2 starters) on the DL since the 2nd week.....so 3 of my bench spots are taken up by DL'ers. Then, I had to get replacements..........now THEY are going DL.......and one of my re-re-placements is going DL after 1 freakin' day. I know I'm not alone. This is ridiculous!!!

I'd like to blame Yahoo for this one.....but the Mets have not officially put him on the DL so its their fault for the delay.

All free agents are on the waiver wire until after Apr 2. If you want a player you have to make a waiver claim but you still won't get him until Ap3 roster. After that they all become F/A.

...and I'll bet they ARE done "automatically". It' just not in real-time, and can get delayed by Yahoo's incompetence. By the way.....the calculations I was talking about are things a reasonably INTELLIGENT person COULD do with what stattracker provides, over what the "match-up" page provides.
I don't know who you or "lenny m" thought you were responding to. It DAMN SURE wasn't me.

I know you have a legitimate beef with Yahoo about the new design, but if you're desperate for your player stats, just open stattracker.
The match-up stats are complete in stattracker and they update 'on the fly' there too, and in fact are MORE complete and detailed than what they give you on the static match-up page anyway. At least you can see accumualated innings pitched and total AB's.
With what stattracker gives you, you can even calculate how many baserunners your pitchers have allowed (for WHIP) and total number of ER..... with those calcs in hand you can project what an upcoming pitcher needs to give you in order to win a category, or whether it's worth throwing a pitcher or not.....same goes for hitter stats like BA.

More fun with numbers. Just to show ya what I said in the other post. Last week my pitchers had 0.86 ERA, 0.79 WHIP going into Sunday with 76 innings pitched.
This week, They're struggling to get under 6.00 ERA and 1.80 WHIP. But wait, my H2H opponent is OVER 10.00 ERA and 2.35 WHIP.
Every roll of the dice is a new spin, with endless combinations and possibilities!

Like magic, 2 days ago, suddenly the "old look" was back.......
It lasted for 1-1/2 days.......Now the "new look" has returned as of last evening.
I know people who NEVER even got the new look at all........and others who didn't get the old look back like I did.
Please explain. How is this even possible??
- AUricle AUricle Sep 7, 2013 4:31 PM Flag
Yeah, I've heard from others who said the same thing, John. In fact I know someone who never got the "new" look at all. I sure as hell have no idea how or why such discrepancies can occur.
Clicked on a player and the "old" look was baaaaaaaack!
It only took 10,000 baseball and footballers to tell them on the sport 'suggestions' and comments forum, but we did it! Hopefully if they're still hell bent on putting out a new look, they'll get it right BEFORE they roll it out to us! Thank You Yahoo!

Hmmm....tough call. Both opponents are high strike out teams. Feldman has history vs. White Sox and averages about 6K/9inn against them over 66 innings (40K). That's assuming a 'complete' game though...and he really has just 9 starts against the Sox Also 6 relief appearances. Just based on THIS YEAR he's had 2 starts vs Sox and in 12 inn has put up 13K's so that's a better K rate...9.1/9inn.
I like the choice.
Roark is an interesting #$%$ shoot, but that's what it is.....a #$%$ shoot. How high is your tolerance for risk? If your a gambler, go for it. But I'd put my money on Feldman.

Found the 'Game Log' link. My bad.
It used to be right next to the "Last 10".....logically, but my fault for not seeing the new link right up top. Thanks for the heads up. "That's one small step for (a) man........"
