Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

Geez. Who are these people throwing value at you hahaha.
Yes I would EASILY do that.
You get the best player in the deal and you don't really pay as much as some other people would pay for a 1st round player.
Take it and run before the other owner comes out of his trance state of mind lol
I like this trade. Okafor isn't playing too bad but he's not too efficient and I'm not sure if he keep up those 1.7 blocks considering he was not a defensive presence in college.
I like this deal because you do get rid of some dead weight and and gain better depth. Calderon is barely rosterable & Martin is mightily struggling and could prob be dropped in standard leagues. You do get Smith & Dieng (who's trending up right now)
There is risk in owning Rubio but if he can stay healthy he'll be a solid player to have.
Proposed 3 Team Trade Offer
I give up Pau/R Jackson. I get Batum/Gay
Team B gives up Gobert/Gay Team B gets Pau/R Jackson
Team C gives up Batum Team C gets Gobert
So the other 2 teams have agreed but I'm still debating. Should I pull the trigger? Value wise.

Easily Rubio. I may be a little biased because I own him but when healthy he's giving out ample assists & steals. His FG isn't great but he doesnt attempt enough to really hurt you like Rose does. And to be quite frank Rose isn't really doing enough in other cats to justify his awful fg.

I agree with CWizzle you're lowballing this guy pretty hard right now. Sure Klay isnt at his A game but Oladipo and Conley arent either right now. So your best bet would be to offer Oladipo & Conley together. Cuz MCW is a roller coaster to deal with and Mahinmi barely has value in 16 team leagues.

To answer Jon's post just because DJZ got the better end of the deal does not mean it's vetoable. If all trades had to be 100% fair no one would win and playing fantasy basketball would be lame. The point of trading is to see who has the better outcome in deals and who can trade rape other teams. I agree DJZ got the better side but no way was that vetoable. It's an obvious sell high moment for both Gordon & Plumlee.

It's hard to take side B seriously when the only real value is Covington. Hood has the potential but his stock isn't really high enough to take seriously right now. While side A you have Fournier, Barton, Zaza as top 5 pickups of the year and Tyreke is due back this week.
Who else think Nikola Jokic will have long term value?
I think even when Nurkic comes back he wont just be given a starting role. Maybe a time share at best but coming back from knee surgery he'll definitely be limited and I'm sure the Nuggets also want to develop Jokic as much as Nurkic

When theres a huge difference in value who cares about team needs. You'll get your PG back later. I'd jump on that trade ASAP. And I'm a Rubio owner.

In a 10 team league you can probably get away with it. And he probably will go off at some point. Remember he is still limited.
As a Covington owner last year, I can say he was extremely sporadic. Not because of his game but because Brett Brown would start him for a month (which is where he KILLED IT) then he would bench him for a month. And he's still getting 28 mins but for some reason he was horrid off the bench.
I think the 76ers need his shooting a lot more this year though with Noel & Okafor clogging the paint so once he starts making shots pick him back up! I dropped him from frustration at one point and then luckily picked him back up in semis of playoffs and he exploded for 3-4 straight games of 22+ pts with ample 3's/steals. Single handedly torched my opponent.
So he's starting to heat up in the last 3 games and may finally be comfortable in his role.
What do you think of his long term outlook? Does he have a better long term outlook than Jeremy Lamb?
