Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

If Thad Young wasnt suddenly struggling I'd say it was a good trade. I'm starting to think the loss of Jack has affected him in some way which is unfortunate. And he's a trade candidate for the sinking Nets. They have absolutely no future and no 1st round draft picks til 2018 which is BAD. So I think Young will get traded before the deadline.
Regardless I'm sure you can shop Young around. I don't blame you for playing safe on Melo. I don't think he will get shutdown this year but who knows.
I traded Beal & Tyson Chandler for Giannis 14 h2h league
I picked up Chandler before the 27 rebound explosion. Did I make the safer move cashing in Beal/Tyson? I could see myself losing this deal if Beal stays healthy and Tyson continues to be a double double guy without injury.
I basically traded Harrison Barnes, Matt Barnes, & Bayless ( who i picked up recently ) for Jeff Teague & 2 small fries. 14 h2h league.
I'm taking a chance on Teague but I honestly can't say he'll bounce back. What do you guys think?

They are BOTH droppable in standard 12 team leagues. Sure you could attempt to trick a noob into getting a deal but good luck with that.

In a shallow 8 team league I'm shocked you still have Korver & Covington. They could easily be replaced. Definitely grab Harrison Barnes. And I'd prob grab Clarkson for the upside. I'd grab Bradley when he's healthy though. Really theres no reason to hold onto deadweight in 8 team leagues.

I'd say he's a top 60 player to own. You wont be able to get the same value in return when he first started blistering hot but he's still a pretty fun player to own especially at the round you probably got him at.

I had both and I'd rather have Jackson as well from a value stand point. But it is a fair trade if you're looking to deal.

You easily win both deals so I'd offer them, however any veteran fantasy basketball owner would not accept these trades especially in a shallow league.
I traded away Pau Gasol & Gordon Hayward for Kawhi Leonard & Bradley Beal. 14 h2h league
It wasn't easy trading away a blistering hot Gasol but his old age & injury history are always in the back of my mind. I can sense Hayward's best 6 weeks are coming up but I can live with not having that production for myself. I can afford to hold Beal where I'm at right now. Good move?

I wouldn't drop Matt Barnes. Just because he got suspended 2 games suddenly people are throwing him away. I'd drop Bogut since he has the least amount of upside and he's always injured.

That Eric Bledsoe injury really opened up a lot of opportunities for other players. I don't think it hurts to cash in on Warren. I'm still not convinced he can hit treys on a consistent basis. And may be a middle mans Andrew Wiggins the rest of the way. Just gaudy points and not much else. But Warren probably would have been more exciting to own than Duncan. I'm still hoping I don't regret trading Booker. He's got opportunity and great efficiency for a rookie SG.

It sounds like there's some decent FA in your league so it'd be safe to make a drop. However don't be surprised if Covington were to go back up on the roller coaster ride. He's either hot as a jalapeno pepper or cold as frosty the snowman

Not vetoable at all however Team A wins by a decent margin.
Top 3 1st rounder 2nd rounder & a injury prone 4th-5th rounder.
Again this trade DEFINITELY should not be vetoed. It's not even total trade rape.

Value wise I also like Barton better. He's got a fantasy friendly game and all the opportunity this year. There's no risk with owning him.
I just traded Devon Booker for Harrison Barnes.
I think Booker's ceiling this year can be something like a JJ Redick once he gets more accustomed to starting at the NBA level. I can afford to hold Barnes though even though he has no timetable.
