Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

I think you should make the move if you're aiming for the championship this year. Jabari probably wont be making any noise anytime soon. Matthews is a solid player to own and he'll be reliable for many years to come. Points, 3's, Stls, Good%.
I was offered Draymond Green & Jared Sullinger for MY Derrick Favors & Jodie Meeks.
14 h2h league. What do you guys think? Sully's arrow is trending down and Green prob wont be any better than he is right now while Favors potential has yet to be untapped. And I really like Jodie and so does Stan.

I would take the chance and grab Horford as he should progressively get better as the season goes on. Tyson has sell high written all over him although he does play well with the Mavs in that system. If you can bare that he may only play around 60 games than keep Tyson.

I was also immediately thinking of Marcus Morris as well and I dont think it's a huge deal that you'd only have one SF. I dont know how active your league is but I would consider making a small deal to fix that situation. It's better than relying on Morris as your 2nd SF anyways. I would stay put on Ben McLemore, it's probably better to wait on him a bit in dynasty leagues as he's starting to show some life finally.

Oh definitely DeMarcus Cousins. I'm a Clippers fan and Iove Griffin but from a fantasy perspective Griffin doesnt get defensive stats and not nearly as many rebounds as Cousins. Plus his FT is a bit worse than Cousins. I'd understand making this move if Cousins was out for a bit but he sounds like he's coming back next week or 2 weeks so I wouldn't sell him low now.

I would drop Bradley for Beverley. I'm not a huge fan of Trey Burke either so if you dont need a PG I'd consider swapping him for Harrison Barnes. Just hang in there with Jennings & TJones. Unless your team is bleeding that much from holding Jones I'd understand if you dropped him but just note you will 100% regret it when he's healthy.

This could be a sell high moment but he was relatively playing pretty well with Cousins already so I wouldnt be too worried about that. As for Draymond he may take a slight dip but lets not forget how versatile Draymond is. He can almost play any position and for an injury prone front court of Bogut/Lee he's bound to get mins no matter what. Oladipo may get better as the season progresses but I was never a huge believer in him yet he does have upside of course. I would take that package for sure if I were in your position.

Mirza Teletovic. He'd be like a Ryan Anderson if Lopez was was shipped out. I dont trust Plumlee, Lional Hollins doesnt trust Plumlee and Plumlee doesnt trust himself. He could be a cheap source of rebounds/blks with poor FT% if he gets it together.

I'm surprised he'd be willing to trade back Klay for Parsons & Lopez cuz you sir did lose that deal even with the fact lopez has more value with the O rebounds as a cat.
I would make that deal back I've made a few trade backs in my fantasy career. Usually they wont say anything unless you guys do it all the time. So you should be able to get a pass here. I've also made a super low end trade back this season so dont fret over it.

I normally dont like answering team questions as I have to look into things a bit more than trade ques so today is your lucky day!
I think it is a pretty solid balanced team. You have your assists, steals, blocks, points, 3's, the most important cats. You're prob losing FT% & T/O which is ok. All great teams usually lose badly in t/o while having toss ups in %. The most I'd do is sell some players high like Bogut who you're riding til the wheels fall off I assume? I'd make a few 2 for 1's and lose the extra depth so you get an extra pickup or 2. But since its a 10 team I'm assuming players like Beverley are borderline droppable so you could stay put.

In a 10 team league he can easily be dropped. Standard leagues he's already waiver wire fodder. I'd take a chance on Meeks if thats really the best option available.

I'm also going to add he has a huge history of being injury prone. His body just cant take an 82 game season. The highest he's been able to go is in the 60's. Even as a former Pekovic owner a few years back he didnt have a major injury that season but he still somehow missed 16 games due to random minor injuries. So he's not very reliable unless you're into riding players til the wheels fall off.

I know it's a dynasty league but I'm not a huge believer in Beal. His value seems like its capped since all he can do is score and hit treys. Maybe he'll eventually develop a bit more and have a somewhat statline to Klay Thompson but I wouldnt bet on it. He's been extremely injury prone. Has had one major injury at least every season now in his 3 years of the NBA. I'd stick with your old guys and ride them out. I'm not even going to mention MKG.

Neither are really appealing. I can guarantee you will drop either one at some point, but since you're making me choose one now....might as well go with the hot hand Miles since he gets streaky. Ride him til the wheels fall off.

Hmm interesting trade. Ibaka is a buy low target but hes coming back into form with KD/Westbrook back. And you almost have no blockers so I'm assuming you want that cat now?
I'd pull the trigger. Z-Bo is basically going to be points/rebounds & nothing else. His value is capped at like top 80. While Morris has been extremely pleasant, playing at a 3rd round value right now, will end up in top 50 AT LEAST. Prob one of the more balanced players in fantasy now, but if I have to sacrifice Morris to get Ibaka. I think I'd do it.

My main reason for not doing league votes is because
1. It takes way too long. I usually pass trades asap and the amount of trades we make 2 days is an eternity.
2. In my past experiences I've noticed people will press the vote against trade just for the hell of it whether it's fair or not fair and that created some chaos.
3. Although it's commish vote I still believe in a democracy, if there's ever a very questionable lopsided trade I'll ask around as we all have each others contact info etc.

I'd have to say Derrick Favors for sure. His upside is massive. He's only getting better every year. They paid him 48M for a reason right? I like Sully too but I dont see his fantasy value ever eclipsing Favors.

You know you're the first one that's defended this trade lol. I told the managers involved I'd give them a fair trial so I'm doing outside research. I do think B Knight is undervalued in this situation. Although I can also see why they think this is way too unbalanced with Hibbert & Johnson basically being one dimensional players. There's a difference between a lopsided trade/trade rape/ a bad trade to a vetoable trade and I think this is getting pretty close or past that border. Thanks for your input though. Also these managers have made a few questionable trades already together where I did get a few nagging complaints before so there is suspect of collusion as well.
