I have a possibility of making a three team deal. I have a deal in place that will land me:
    Troy Tulowitzki
    Michael Wacha
    Ervin Santana
    Roberto Osuna

    for Carlos Correa
    Matt Cain

After that I plan on trading Michael Wacha in one of two trades. I can either acquire Freddie Freeman or Jason Kipnis.

    My team is:
    C - Buster Posey
    1B - Edwin Encarnacion
    2B - D.J LeMahieu
    3B - Josh Donaldson
    SS - Carlos Correa
OF - J.D Martinez, Joc Pederson, Jason Heyward,
Util - Curtis Granderson, Adam Lind
BN - Cesar Hernandez, Kevin Pillar, David Peralta
    DL - George Springer
SP - Cole Hamels, Jon Lester, Tyson Ross, Lance Lynn, Patrick Corbin, Anibal Sanchez, A.J Burnett, Matt Cain
RP - Huston Street, Santiago Casilla, Ken Giles
DL - Steven Matz, Brandon Morrow

Which of those two deals is better for me. Kipnis or Freeman?

I am trying to play for both this year and the future. I'm sitting in 5th right now and I would be acquiring Tulo, Wacha and Osuna. I'm just not sure how much better if at all Tulo will be than Correa at SS and that's coming from someone who loves Tulo especially now that hes a Blue Jay. Also Wacha really worries me. Aside from being bad the last two or so months he's always at risk of a serious shoulder injury...

you keep the player at the cost of one round up they were drafted. So Correa - Undrafted - would cost a 25th Rounder. Tulo was taken first round so he'd still cost me a 1st but Wacha for example was taken in the 8th so he'd cost me a 7th to keep

I'm in 5th place as of now so i'm in a position to make the playoffs for sure and i think i have one of the better teams but thats all really a matter of perspective.

I wasn't asking based on my roster i was asking based on players involved over say a 2 year time framd since thats how long i can keep a player for. But if you need my team it is as follows
    Catcher - Posey
    1B - Encarnacion
    2B - LeMahieu
    3B - Donaldson
    SS - Correa
    OF - J.D. Martinez
    OF - Pederson
    OF - Heyward
    Util - Lind
    Util - Granderson
    BN - D. Peralta
    BN - Pillar
    BN - C. Hernandez
    DL - Springer
SP - Hamels, Lester, Lynn, Ross, Burnett, Sanchez, Corbin, Cain, Pineda
    RP - Casilla, Street, Giles
    DL - Morrow, Matz

    Good deal for me?

  • It's a 12 Team H2H League - Keep 4
    Categories are:
R, H, HR, RBI, SB, BB, AVG, XBH, W, CG, SO, SV, K, ERA, WHIP

    Team A Gets:
    Carlos Correa - SS (HOU)

    Team B Gets:
    Troy Tulowitzki - SS (TOR)
    Michael Wacha - SP (STL)
    Roberto Osuna - CL (TOR)

Carlos Correa is a sure fire keeper and will only cost a 25th RD pick. Tulo was taken RD 2 so he'll cost a 1st. Michael Wacha has been in a slump since the calendar flipped to June and is always at risk of injury and Osuna is Osuna... not much can be said there.

    All input is greatly appreciated!

I'm planning on keeping Josh Donaldson, Joc Pederson, George Springer, and Carlos Correa. I desperately needed starting pitching. How did i do?

Which is a better trade in a keeper pool --- lose pick round up the player was drafted -- categories are R, H, HR, RBI, AVG, XBH, SB, BB

    Team A gets:
    Josh Donaldson (drafted round 9)
    18th Round Draft Pick

    1) Team B gets:
Jorge Soler (Undrafted - lose 25th round pick)
    6th Round Draft Pick

    2) Team B gets:
Marcel Ozuna (Undrafted - lose 25th round pick)
    5th Round Draft Pick

Team A may need to give up a 4th rounder with Ozuna in this deal.
    Thoughts? Thanks.

Haha ya i got that. I didn't really even think of that. Also didn't look at V-Mart's stats before this year. The guy hit over .300 the last 4 years with like 80+ RBI in each one. I was thinking regression from this year for him but even if he does regress that's a great line to go down to. Good call by you I think i'll go with that. Thanks for the help!

  • I keep 4 players and I lose the draft pick ahead of where that player was drafted the previous year (i.e. drafted 8th round last year i'd lose a 7th, Undrafted i lose my last round pick etc...) Categories are Runs, Hits, Homers, RBIs, Steals, Average, Extra Base Hits, Wins, Complete Games, Shutouts, Saves, Strikeouts, ERA, WHIP

    My Team:
Player 2014 Draft Position 2014 Final Rank Current O-Rank
    Buster Posey (SF - C,1B) Round 3, Pick 9 42 32
    Víctor Martínez (Det - 1B) Round 15, Pick 9 7 76
    Joe Panik (SF - 2B) - 896 1131
    Juan Uribe (LAD - 3B) - 304 365
    Erick Aybar (LAA - SS) - 120 191
    Marcell Ozuna (Mia - OF) - 92 117
    Chris Carter (Hou - 1B,OF) Round 18, Pick 8 94 96
    Brett Gardner (NYY - OF) Round 11, Pick 9 95 99
    Hanley Ramírez (Bos - SS) Round 1, Pick 9 119 21
    Jorge Soler (ChC - OF) - 977 78
    Starling Marte (Pit - OF) Round 5, Pick 9 62 53
    Wil Myers (SD - OF) Round 4, Pick 4 875 188
    Grégory Polanco (Pit - OF) Round 14, Pick 4 430 174
    James Shields (SD - SP) Round 7, Pick 9 115 83
    Héctor Santiago (LAA - SP,RP) - 425 527
    Yusmeiro Petit (SF - SP,RP) - 199 311
    Casey Janssen (Was - RP) Round 18, Pick 4 273 309
    Cody Allen (Cle - RP) - 110 114
    Aarón Sánchez (Tor - RP) Round 21, Pick 9 260 345
    Edinson Vólquez (KC - SP) - 154 341
    Cole Hamels (Phi - SP) Round 9, Pick 9 67 44
    Phil Hughes (Min - SP) - 102 140
    Miguel González (Bal - SP) - 265 342
    Josh Collmenter (Ari - SP,RP) - 178 305
    Jake Arrieta (ChC - SP) - 53 89
    George Springer (Hou - OF) Round 13, Pick 9 318 45
    Brett Lawrie (Oak - 2B,3B) Round 6, Pick 4 781 223

Right now I'm thinking Hamels (lose 8th), Springer (lose12th), Soler (Lose 25th), and right now I'm thinking Arrieta (lose 24th) but i'd like to hear other suggestions. Right now only guaranteed to keep Springer and Hamels. Thanks.
