    jimmy butler.....

    by Ben Mar 2, 2015 4:46 PM

I dropped pek for kidd gilchrist. it was either him or bass. still debating to drop butler for lin or snell. or I can drop rondo. that's pretty much it right now. keep going back and forth on rondo or turner as well. trying to get similar stats. my team is getting nailed with injuries at a bad time.

I don't have a bye but still tempted to hold butler for now. he played through pain before. Aldridge was ruled out decided to play so who knows... 2 weeks of holding butler to see im not that big on any of these adds right now. its not going to affect my playoff position overly. evan turner I droped rondo for but then readded rondo so I could drop pekovic for him and go another direction maybe.

gilchrist is putting up big numbers. Brandon bass im tempted to add him. Zeller. Jordan hill. lin, snell, pope for guards.. james Johnson. I think that's about it on my list.

it's terrible.. I might want to hold him since im in the playoffs regardless and my seeding isn't going to change too much in 2 weeks. maybe he'll come back early. I also have pekovic and might drop him first. james Johnson is out there.

  • no..... should I drop him yet? Lin, Snell are my options. Kidd GIlchrist is out there as well and kaldwell-pope

    paul george

I took your advice on this one although the top team who has a bye snagged him. Ah well. IVe b een playing the waivers all year. Im not sure how I did. I've broken even in ways. drafted:bradley, dieng, burke, rondo, jeff green, Terrence Jones. Ended up with Mo Wil, Whiteside, Smart, Turner, Carroll, Kemba Walker.. Bradley is really the guy i'm kicking myself on. Could have gone paul George over Mo Wil but maybe can find someone else.

    drop rondo?

    by Ben Feb 25, 2015 9:18 PM

I don't see Turner sticking long term. I think Smart ultimately will take a lot of turners responsibilities but for this year. The Celtics might showcase him a bit and let him do his thing.

I'll hope Rondo doesn't turn it up. He might. Like I said I sat on him for that long and he might turn it around a bout now. Also hoping the Celtics rotations stay about the same this year. They don't have a small forward. They have crowder, Jerebko and KO coming back which might affect Turner. But as it stands 48 minutes at both guard spots and 20 minutes at SF for one of the guards. That's 30 minutes a piece for 4 guards. AB, Smart, Thomas and Turner. That's what they've been doing. That might change once KO comes back or if James young ever gets more time. For this year it might stay at that though depending on injuries etc. Especially with Sully out.

  • should I drop mo Williams for him now since mo is going to be useless once kemba comes back? already have kemba and am in the playoffs... having 2 guys like George and kemba back for a week 1 playoff matchup may be optimistic though?

I snagged turner because of the tiple doubele and his adds went up. he's the top 1 or 2 adds right now. It's my one shot to get a legit replacement for rondo vs waiting on him and busting any longer.

I hear you. I used to be the guy who would pick up those guys as i sat on him for a month as he sucked and then drop him just as he's about to turn it around. The issue is i really like turner. he's basically filling rondo's spot in boston on a cheaper contract and more willing to play a role. Rondo is still adjusting to that. he needs to be the man. I'm a celtics fan too. thing is talent wise id probably rather rondo over turner but until rondo can settle on a role he's useless. thats the issue with contracts is rondo wants to be paid like a superstar and perform like one when sometimes its better to have guys who just play to their strenths. Turner has been starting to fit in really nice in boston. so why hang onto rondo when turner is going to put up similar numbers for sure. rondo has more upside but who knows really. Turner could blow up and start averaging really good numbers too. He has been the past 2 weeks. He's been scoring 10 ppg, 8 asssts and 8 rebounds and 1-2 steals. Plus he shoots better from the line. his fg percentage and turnovers suck and he has yet to do that for more than 2 weeks but he seems like he's finding his role.

I dropped him for turner. I figure turner should be able to equal or better his output. Brooks is out there too. I just picked up mo Williams though since I have kemba walker. I guess I could trade mo for brooks but I don't know. mo is going to be useless once kemba gets back.

  • for evan turner? rondo is not doing much

I just dumped sully for pek to play it safe...... any way to fit Len or zeller on this team? I feel like they could be key pickups going forward. I'm stacked with big men though.. just waived Augustin and jeff green for mo Williams and Kemba hoping to find a pg. pg's are thin. Canaan is out there but hanging onto smart and rondo for now...

    drop jeff green?

thats what i ended up doing. tough waiving jeff green but needed some pg help and i think augustin and green for kemba and mo is a good tradeoff. I was going to take a flier on canaan but my thinking is i can replace jeff green later on. having mo and kemba is more valuable to me right now and later as well.

well i just dropped augustin for kemba walker. need some help at pg. maybe drop jeff for mo williams? with kemba sitting there then drop mo once kemba gets back?

  • he really isn't worth his 80 percent ownage rate since he got dealt. my team is pretty stacked but i feel like i want to cut bait and try to find someone else. The issue is i need his sg eligibility since jimmy butler is the only other sg eligible player i have on my roster.

    isaiah canaan
    wayne ellington
    oj mayo
    gerald henderson
    jared dudley

  • Drummond, rondo, jeff green for

    A.Lawson, Bradley ,dieng or

I'm being offered Rubio for Hassan Whiteside straight up right now but not trading Whiteside.
