Commissioner Corner Message Board
AJ Green. Just look at the production. Even with Eifert and Gio stealing some looks, he's still one of the most consistent WR's out there and in your structure worth the pick. RB is a roulette game every year due to injuries, AP is the only choice....you want to roll on an unproven rookie then go right ahead. I honestly think there's going to be a RBBC and Morris is probably the goal line back
Here's my insight: Gordon in the 5th is a waste of a pick. You can find starters on proven pass teams like the saints. Gordon is overweight, likely to fail another drug test, and had ONE good year three years ago and hasn't taken a snap in over two. It was a diff qb, diff offense, and rg3 sucks. OH yeah....suspended for the 1st 4 games. take him in the 5th round? You go right ahead.
No, you're not.
Cam scored 4 points a game higher than Bortles, who was the 4th best FFL QB last year. Cam did this in an MVP performance. Bortles did this with no offensive line.
I think Bortles will improve, and Cam will likely dip a bit. That's just my gut. Bortles has one issue this year, he's got Chris Ivory running for him, so the Jags may not be as pass happy as before.
You can likely get some poor shmoe to give you a RB1/WR1 for Cam, but not for Bortles. FF is about overall team production, if you think you can make up the 4 points and more by trading Cam, then trade Cam. If not, sit tight and enjoy Cam's Bye week knowing Bortles is there.
How is this even a question? TJ Yeldon has ivory in front of him, and the Allens on either side....Langford is the starter and has a Jeffreys and an unproven White on either side.
Also, Langford did well in relief...Yeldon was replaced as the starter.
Blake Bortles averaged just 4 points per game less than Cam Newton last year. You can probably pick him up for a song. Ingram is the starter and goal line back that had some injuries last year that, if he returns to form from the year before...is a TD machine in a league were those are few and far between.

To support the general sentiment here...you have no reason to make this trade. You need those Wrs and you don't need Elliot. And I too would unload Carlos Hyde in a heartbeat. You've got 2 other starters on your bench and potential in henry. Maybe trade for another TE?
Ingram is an absolute must.
Everyone else has negatives and positives
Forte in a new offense, but one that rushed well last year, also has no competition for the starting job.
DeMarco Murray, still injury prone, new offense, is on a bad offense and a timeshare
Thomas Rawls - lid blowing performance last year in relief - got injured quick - currently on PUP - However, if healthy the 'hawks are dedicated to running -remind me to pick up Christine Michael if he's still around in the 7th
Jeremy Hill, came on late last year - ADP has him behind Gio Bernard and so does the depth chart. A lot of weapons on that cinci team
Sammy Watkins - no1 wr..for the bills...nuff sed
Randall Cobb - I like this pick. McCarthy is calling the plays, the year before last when doing the same I had Jordy and Cobb on the same team...they killed it
John Brown - I like it Yes he's 3rd on the depth chart but this is a team that's going to throw a lot. He actually beat Michael Floyd in every stat and wil likely push for the number 2 spot.
Edleman - no. NE is going back to the 2 TE set. Martellus Bennett will outscore Edleman this year
Delanie Walker - Yes. If you're wowed by Greg Olsen...Walker scored one less TD, had around 20 less yards, and 20 MORE receptions.
Walker, Cobb, Brown...if you're gunshy about going with 2 WR's...
Walker, Cobb, Forte
I'd remove Miller and Allen from that list. Not thrilled with Elliot either. He's getting the typical Dallas hype machine treatment. Dallas does have a pretty good line, but a lot of their success was due to Bill Callahan being their line coach two years go.
He's the reason Matt Jones is a sleeper this year. No. Really.
Jeffery is the safest bet for consistent production. Nelson has the higher ceiling as McCarthy is calling plays again.
The answer lies in the answer to this question:
"Do you feel that there are 4 or more elite players in the league that will outperform picks 5 through forever?" If the answer is no, then by god make this trade.
Does your league require a TE? If so Gronk or Olsen look pretty good at 4.
FF is about production per player, not individual stats. Never forget that.
