Commissioner Corner Message Board
I am commish in a well-run (if I can say so myself ;)) league in its 5th year. We have managers from 3 continents, who are active in trading, participating in league improvements, etc. Every year any manager can put up any changes up for a vote. This year we introduced limited pre-draft trading for example.
Anyway, unfortunately one of the managers just let me know he has to stop with fantasy baseball due to personal reasons, so I'm looking for a replacement.
He finished second last year and already selected his 9 keepers:

Minor League Roster:
I have a fully loaded offense.
This is a 15 team league and with the keepers, likely at least 15 of keepers rostered will be closers. So, I am choosing from:
I drafted Calhoun last season with intention of him as a keeper this season, but now, with Corea/Bryant there is no spot for him in the OF.
So, I am leaning towards Matz, with my needing another starter. Tempted with Miller but he is only a month long closer.
6x6 league includes OPS and Losses. Last season I finished second as I finished tops in all but the Wins and K's categories. 3 points total killed me, as the winner was 2nd to me in most other categories. This is a debate I am mulling ober. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
#$%$: Thanks for info. Email my league received was very vague on facts/info. Wasn't sure what they were talking about. Didn't think they were cancelling leagues but it helps to be sure.
Two keeper leagues, one points (6 keepers), the other H2H/points (not roto; 8 keepers). If interested, I'll assign a team in either league you want and you can pick keepers from that team's 2015 roster before the draft.
Looking to scrap some trash from my bench for a chance on a SP or two I could use more. FA's are: Neise, V.Velasquez(Philly), Ruby De La Rosa, Boslinger(LAD's), Roark(Wash), Heston(SF), R.Ray(Ariz), Gray(Rockies) or even grab Ryu and put on DL. Any thoughts on decent SP out of this group is appreciated. NL only h2h daily.

Confirm Keeper Players tool
Once a league's keeper declaration deadline has passed, the Commissioner can approve each team's submitted Keepers, making changes to comply with league rules as necessary.
From the homepage of a league you're Commissioner of:
Under "Keeper Management," click Approve Keeper Players.
Review the keepers selected by each team. If you need to edit a team's Keepers, click Edit Keepers beneath the team's roster.
When you're done, click Approve All Keepers and proceed to edit your league's draft.
As Commissioner, you're required to approve your league's Keepers before your live draft begins. If you don't, the draft won't run.
You'll have until approximately one hour before your league drafts to approve your league's Keeper selections.
If your Keeper Declaration deadline is in the future, or if you have not finalized your team list, you won't be able to confirm keepers.
If the commissioner changes any of the teams' Keepers, the changes will be noted in a transaction to improve league communication and discourage unethical changes by the Commissioner.
