Who to Start Message Board
Seems pretty even in a ROTO, so if it helps your team, go for it. Upton will be solid in Detroit and Tanaka limits base runners effectively so he should be able to put together another solid year, even while pitching in the AL East. Arrieta is going to kill with Chicago's defensive and offensive upgrades. I'd take the Arrieta side in a points league. Good luck this year.

Not sure what the 9 hitting cats are but you are short on speed for one. I agree with the batting heavy approach in almost all cases, but especially here where the categories seem a little imbalanced as you do have the two categories on the pitching side that will more often than not be tied 0 to 0. I do think you picked the wrong starting pitchers though. I especially hate the Shields and Zimmerman picks, and I am not optimistic on Severino (though I am guessing he didn't come at a huge price anyways). I also think you went a bit overkill going for three upper tier (ie EXPENSIVE) closers.
Since its weekly, any lineup changes will be reflected on Monday's date. So instead of looking at your roster for today or tomorrrow's date, go forward to next Monday and your changes shoud be reflected.
Based off the first offer you received from this guy, I would be shocked if you are able to make a deal with him that makes any sense for you. I don't think your proposed counter is that great for you either.
Weekly match up. 12 man league H2H
Every category for Hitting and Pitching
I had the 12th and 13th pick in my draft
I drafted Rizzo/Bryant/J.D/Jones. and so on...
IF -D. LeMahieu
OF -A. Jones
First time doing a keeper league.. Winner gets 2 keepers.. My thought was draft young players hoping to keep rizzo and bryant for years to come. What do you guys think I lack and should i trade away any players, any words are appreciated thanks.
No point in having 2 catchers, you should try to trade one of them. D. Gregorious probably shouldn't be on your team. Its a solid team, could use another good SP, and some more bench SPs for the counting stats.
I drafted ARod last season when everyone thought he'd be a bust. I was very happy with his production and was pretty consistent. My vote is Arod, a proven hitter.
Just curious about what people think is most fair. The options are higher seed or regular season record against. The 2nd makes more sense to me, but the problem is that we have 2 teams that play each other one time in the season. Last year, coincidentally, those two were in the Championship and ended up tied. So it went to the winner of the regular season match up. That doesn't necessarily seem fair either.
There are also a lot of 2x a year matchups which could end up 1-1. So I guess a question is what is the 2nd tie breaker? If you select record against and that ends up 1-1, does it then go higher seed?
