Commissioner Corner Message Board
Well, let me explain my logic. Sadly, I'm 5-4 at this point, although I lead the league in points by 100. The losses I've taken have been to the ONLY team I couldn't beat that respective week, so I'm looking to just make the playoffs at this point. I know the trade is pretty even for the most part, but I think it makes sense for my team.... Myself and the other team I traded with finally came up w/a trade that helps us both.
We only need to start 2 RB's in a 1/2 pt. PPR. I believe that I have enough depth to start a WR (Brandin Cooks/DeVante Adams) at flex most weeks. As for the McCoy/Williams thing, I'm getting worried at this point that it turns into a true 50/50 time share and since I don't want to start both, I don't want to deal w/that problem at this point in the game. Buffalo plays @ NYJ this week and then @ NE the following.
Yes, Rawls is an obvious downgrade, but since I have Lynch, why not? Kind of a run-first offense (although not doing it efficiently at this point). Tenn seems committed to A. Andrews at this point, and there may come a time I actually feel confident using him? lol. Martin's schedule is pretty good moving forward, and IF he does struggle, I can throw Sims in there. I know I lack @ depth for RB, but I just think it was a move I had to make. Could be a mistake, but I had to take this chance at this point. Thanks for the feedback!
Agreed. Starks, K. Williams, even Charles Sims or Joique Bell would help you at this point. Crowell isn't terrible. Gio is your RB1 right now and Lacy just lost the starting job.
If you make this trade there is a 1% chance you make playoffs.
here is my lineup. it is only an 8 team league at work so most have good lineups. standard categories
Aaron Rodgers GB - QB
Odell Beckham Jr. NYG - WR
Demaryius Thomas Den - WR
A.J. Green Cin - WR
Todd Gurley StL - RB
Justin Forsett Bal - RB
Tyler Eifert Cin - TE
Allen Robinson Jax - WR
Justin Tucker Bal - K
Pittsburgh Pit - DEF
Larry Fitzgerald Ari - WR
Philip Rivers SD - QB
Chris Johnson Ari - RB
Carlos Hyde SF - RB
Antonio Andrews Ten - RB
Arizona Ari - DEF
I was lucky to draft Gurley. Then early on I was able to trade watkins for forsett and then just last week i traded jeffrey, amari and mccoy for aj green and thomas
Gotta love South Park!
I agree, Brown has been a solid WR3. I just have no need for 4 top 12 RBs when I can only start two(don't need the start/sit headaches every week either). And my glaring weak spot(which may be QB with Luck down) is my WR3.
I was lucky and drafted Ivory, Ingram and Gurley. Just picked up Williams the moment Bell went down. And absolutely stole DT in a trade.
Thanks for the suggestion!
My current team is:
L. Murray (RB)
C. West (RB)
It's a 12 team PPR League with 1QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1WR/RB, 1K, & 1DEF playing each week.
What do you think?
Can start 2 RB's, 2 WR's and a flex. I believe the easiest trade would be Julio for Freeman, but he would rather have Hopkins. My other WR's are Sanders, James Jones and Stevie Johnson.
Which WR's would you start this week? I need 3, non ppr:
When you drop a player and they go to waivers, they will have a waiver date assigned to them. You can look up the player on the Players tab and there will be a date next to their name. That is the date they come off of waivers and the date you would have your first shot at reclaiming the player as an FA.
If you drop a player and they go to waivers, you cannot submit a waiver claim against that player. You will get an error message.
The exception to the above is if your league uses FAAB. You are allowed to buy back your player in FAAB leagues if you submit the highest bid.
