Commissioner Corner Message Board
How deep is the league in terms of teams and rosters? Without that info it's tough to tell because I have no idea if Andrus is useless or valuable.
On first glance this seems like an overpay, since I think I'd prefer Kinsler to Greinke straight up, and the contract terms make it even more favorable to the guy getting Kinsler. The fact that you're throwing in other stuff (and potentially valuable stuff like a super cheap Phillips), makes it a hard no for you.
Looking for a replacement manager for an inactive team.
Please see the link below:
The team to be replaced is called 'Dead Mouse'.
Please check the settings and reply if interested.

So can you draft directly into these positions. If I were to set up three NA spots pre-draft then only players with that status could be drafted into those positions?
Both Buxton and Kepler are high ranked prospects. I do not see how you do not find them fantasy relevant. Especially considering Kepler has been producing well as of late.
Been using your site for three years now for a keeper league. My participants are clamoring for a summer trading period. If trading can be open once you open Fantasy Hockey in August that would be a great addition.
Im in Ypro H2H....I dont like to carry any batter on my bench and max at 5 rp. that leevs me 8 sp. I currently hav 4 rp and 9 sp
I'd take Maeda. Willson is looking really good. However, he wont play every day and of course he will regress a big as pitchers figure him out (and then he'll adjust and even out) Especially once Soler and Fowler come back, he may lose some time.
I am looking for an active manager to take over a team in a 3rd year, H2H, 16 team, Dynasty league. You keep 16 of 18 players/def each season. Than we hold a 2 round draft with an optional 3rd round (meaning you would have to drop a current player). We have a slow, email draft through message boards. This league is very active w/ draft pick trades.
The team you would be taking over currently has the 7th pick in all 3 rounds. The draft is set to start on 7/2/2016. Here is the current roster:
QB - P Rivers
WR- M Wheaton
WR- R Matthews
WR- J Crowder
RB- M Forte
RB- J Forsett
TE- T Kelce
WR/RB/TE- J Cameron (TE)
K- C Santos
DEF- New England
BEN- M Ryan (QB)
BEN- B LaFell (WR)
BEN- N Washington (WR)
BEN- V Cruz (WR)
BEN- C Johnson (RB)
BEN- K Gaskins (RB)
Please let me know if your interested. You can contact me at smokinbigfatty on this site or leave a post with your contact info.
I was offered Kenta Maeda for Wilson Contrares in my 12 team (10 cat) roto league. Should I take it? I am currently in 3rd place. Here is the rest of my team.
C (1): Wilson Contreras, Matt Weiters
1B (1): Prince Fielder
2B (1): Daniel Murphy
SS (1): Trevor Story, Eduardo Nunez
3B (1): Kris Bryant
OF (3): Giancarlo Stanton, Jay Bruce, Carlos Gomez, Ben Zobrist, Billy Hamilton
DL (1): Hunter Pence
SP: David Price, John Lester, Jordan Zimmerman, Kyle Hendricks, Yu Darvish (DL), Lucas Giolito
RP: Mark Melancon, Alex Colome, Carlos Esteves
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Satt, the SIMPLE answer to this is to eliminate the temptation of cheating, which runs rampant in ESPN leagues and is probably the PRIMARY reason you play at Yahoo in the first place. The Yahoo mentality is they allow a commissioner to choose a 4,6 or 8 team playoff bracket, and you can choose to seed them outright, or reseed after each matchup, this is in options/league settings. To allow ANY further manipulation of the playoffs would reduce its integrity. Yahoo does NOT allow conferences, they do allow divisions. You can have 2, 3 or 4 divisions and have each division winner get top seed if you desire. I would not trust any commissioner expect anyone to trust me, If I had the power to manipulate that any further.
My SP is hurting with Matz/Syndergaard bone spurs and Aaaron Sanchez eventually moving to the bullpen. This league has A, B, C contracts (C being expiring).
I trade: Kinsler ($28B), Brett Gardner ($16C), Brett Phillips ($1A) and Henry Owens ($2B)
I get: Greinke ($43C) and Elvis Andrus ($11A)
My other 2B's are Daniel Murphy and Merrifield
My OF is Conforto, Billy Hamilton, Nelson Cruz, Cespey, Taylor, Span, Blackmon.
First, we're almost in July, and you ask this NOW?
OK, say you want to add a FA (i'm not even going to attempt a waiver xtrans here). Choose a FA from the players list by clicking on the green plus sign. The next page will be your roster, and just below the player you want to acquire will be your list of players currently on your team. To the left of every name is a blue minus sign, click on the sign of the player you want to drop. You will then get a confirmation screen, if you want to do this, confirm by clicking the blue box. There, all done!
Depends on the league, what the settings and categories are. Public leagues are a starters/closers only club,if i'm in those, I'll try to set my roster where I have SP's in every SP slot, half of the P's will be SP, and a large portion of my bench will be SP so I can mix and match on a daily basis. If I'm in a league that places value on middle relievers (holds, etc) All my SP and 1/2 bench will be SP's. My relievers i'll split between the RP/P slots with closers and middies who get holds or high K/9 #'s. If due to rainouts delays, etc, I happen to have an excess of SP's throwing that day, I'll either bench the ones with lesser matchups or throw them into P slots over the middies.
