you're in a twenty team league so i don't think i can give much credible advice except that your pitching is really bad. also carrying guys like adam dunn and bj upton are probably bringing you down badly. both guys will probably combine to hit about .450 if you're lucky! your infield is solid though, maybe trade reyes when he gets back for a solid SP.
I have a deadbeat owner in a 12 team dynasty head to head (points) league. Fun league with deep rosters. The owners team has lots of good players, but they are not active at all. First person to contact me gets the team.
You've now resorted to a Strawman argument, Harry. You have now repositioned the argument to be "can this player be a top 5 steals guy with no playing time." That was never the argument. The argument is whether he can be a top 5 SB guy while platooning. That was the original objection at the top of this thread from Fantasy Phenom, that it might be a platoon situation when Chris Young returns. Not losing all ABs, just a platoon. Davis from last year proves it's possible. Because that is so, the only way to counter my argument (besides your juvenile namecalling) is to try to use the Strawman tactic, to which I say TRY AGAIN.
Hi, Im looking to take over for a missing/awol player in your league. I would be interested in a one year, keeper or dynasty. I am a active player and have played fantasy sports here on yahoo for close to 9 years!! you can reach me at chrisdernon2 at ya hoo
I liked Zain's answer. I've never played in a 20 team league either so I also can't give you much intelligent help. I agree with what Zain said about the deadweight of Dunn and BJ. You've also got some pitchers I've never even heard of. lol
I doubt either is available in FA - so you're going to have to trade for them. If you drafted Pedroia for speed...take Gordon. If you would like a little more pop...Rendon.
I currently own four closers (Rosenthal, Hunter, Papelbon, K-Rod) in a 10-team, H2H league where we can only start three at a time.
An owner who needs closers has offered me Bonifacio for Hunter. I feel inclined to take it because I could use some speed and position flexibility. Plus, it would eliminate my bad luck of always sitting a closer on the day they get a save. And, Hunter is a shaky option who is far from "elite."
My only concern is that I'm buying high on Emilio and could possibly get a more reliable return for one of my excess closers...

I need the same answer I thought I could play with that. It seems it's not goign to be rested so far, I'm absolutely doomed if it's not possible !!
Actually, I have asked a similar question before (when Papelbon was the closer being traded), but I got split answers.
Some said something along the lines of "Closers are replaceable, and Bonifacio offers elite speed," while others have said, "You can get more for one of your closers."
I'm trying to receive a more definitive answer.
What do you guys think?
I play in a 12 team Keeper league (keep 4 players). I have Bogaerts on my Roster as well and am hoping for big things from him this year which would make me trading Tulo for help this year an easy option, especially with him already showing injury signs.
Do I trade him now and try to get a keeper in return? If so, what should I target.
My current 4 going into this year were: Trout, Stanton, Harper, Tulo
I also have Bogaerts as mentioned, Profar, Matt Adams, Scherzer...outside of that, not much I would even consider keeping into next year and I generally dont keep pitchers.
Well there's no definitive answer. As for me...if I were confident I had 3 closers that would get me 30 or more saves each AND I needed a SB guy...I would try to trade the least productive of my 4 closers. So basically the question is am I better off with 4 closers or am I better off with Emilio.
20 team H2H. I trade Tulo and De Aza to get Fielder and Craig. Normally this would be a no-brainer, but it would leave me needing a MI with the best available being Lombardozzi... My roster:
OF De Aza
OF Young Jr.
BN Gio Gonzalez
Thanks for the feedback.
I believe Papelbon will be my least productive closer this year, but the guy already rejected that deal. He countered with Hunter.
