This is all accurate.... however, there are 10 scoring categories. And everyone must score in some fashion in all to win. If you get all the hitting cats and none of the pitching, you tie. Similarly, if you have 25 HRs in a week and your opponent has 7 HRs, you win the cat just as if you had 8 HRs and you opponent has 7 HRs. Point being, you have to have pitchers in some fashion. You can't win without them, so why not try to get pitchers that are better than your opponents? It's not like your opponents pitchers will play everyday, or won't hurt their ratios. You are all on equal playing fields.

Great second league because you can survive bad weeks. Every week the 10 lowest teams "miss the cut". They compete the following week and the lowest score is eliminated.

I would do that. That's great value for Rendon as JAH points out and personally, I prefer Rendon to Seager and he would be the drop for me (without knowledge of your other keepers - maybe there is an even more desirable drop?).
I have a 10 team Points Only keeper league in its 7th year called King of The Mountain. Unfortunately, one owner is not returning and I need an experienced, knowledgeable, passionate replacement GM. Our league is full of friendly, competitive, experienced and knowledgable owners. The scoring system is AMAZING and it took years of experimenting to get it perfect. Trust me when I tell you that this league is really fun and quite possibly the best league that you will ever be a part of. We even give points for no-hitters, perfect games, and grand slams. It is a 30 man roster that also has 5 disabled list spots (DL) and 3 Not Active (NA) spots for minor league players/prospects. Everyone gets 5 keepers, and here are some of the players you can keep:
Live Draft is scheduled for Saturday, April 2nd at 3PM Eastern Time. The best news is that you will get FIRST PICK in the draft if you join. You will get 1 minute to make each pick. Here are the roster positions:
C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, LF, CF, RF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL, DL, DL, DL, NA, NA, NA
And here is the scoring system:
Runs: 1 Point
Home Run: 4
Stolen Base: 2
Hit By Pitch: 1
Hit For The Cycle: 25

Innings Pitched: 3 Points (aka 1 point for every out recorded)

Finally, there is a 1750 innings limit for pitchers, which is more than generous. Once you reach that limit, you cannot score any more points with your pitchers. There is also a 162 game limit for each batter position. Must have several years of experience to join.

If this spot is still available, then I am your man. I have been doing fantasy baseball with yahoo since 2003 and I have a 67% rating across all 4 sports. Send the invite to wulfalub and that is with yahoo. Thanks.
The link for sending "guest" invites has been fixed, however the "new" procedure to do so may be confusing as it adds another step.
1)Enter e-mail address in box next to select some friends to invite.
2)You can enter several e-mail addresses, they will appear in bottom of the box
3)Click on the option if you choose to add a message
4)Click on the blue box to send all invites
I know this way works, because I was able to send an invite to myself using a different e-mail address. Included e-mail has "Invite link" that will permit your subject to join the league.
