Urgent start, great team, very competitive league, trade happy and very active
Unless Davis is suddenly going to become a top 10 MLB player in power/speed number then the answer is Charlie Blackmon.
Hello I would like to know where to find the point value for each Stat in a head to head league??? For example How many points do I get for A Run?? (example) Where do I find this Thank you so Much !!!!
Just like the title says, my league needs 9 more managers to join, League ID#: 136341, League Name: Master-Batters. This a brand new league and would love to make it into a league that's around for awhile
H2H league, 12 teams, Keep 7 players + youngest
Leave your email address and you'll receive an invite. Pick one of two teams:
Team 1: Jose Bautista, Michael Brantley, Matt Carpenter, Rusney Castillo, Rajai Davis, Prince Fielder, Dee Gordon, Ian Kinsler, Brandon Moss, Jhonny Peralta, Wilson Ramos, Ben Revere, Alex Rios, Kennys Vargas, Andrew Cashner, Tyler Clippard, Josh Collmenter, Odrisamer Despaigne, Doug Fister, Gio Gonzalez, Mark Melancon, Rick Porcello, Jose Quintana, Max Scherzer, Joe Smith, Chris Tillman
Team 2: Matt Adams, Billy Butler, Carlos Correa, Wilmer Flores, Avisail Garcia, Alex Gordon, Jedd Gyorko, JJ Hardy, Yadier Molina, Wil Myers, Dustin Pedroia, Salvador Perez, Pablo Sandoval, Jesse Chavez, Bartolo Colon, Craig Kimbrel, Jon Lester, Jenrry Mejia, AJ Ramos, Trevor Rosenthal, Rafael Soriano, Stephen Strasburg, Pedro Strop, Junichi Tazawa, Michael Wacha, Adam Wainwright
lol his 3 steals are against..
Roberto Pena - never played the mlb level before
Kevin Plawecki twice - hes literally awful
his 2 caught stealing..
Ryan Lavarnway - scrub
J.T. Realmuto - also scrub
Obviously Piscotty doesnt face any talent in spring training, dont come at me with your #$%$ stat attempts. Youve already tried that once..
League looking for new members who's like to try a sabermetrics-ish league (obp/slg instead of hr/avg). We also do HLD since SV can be unbalanced...drafting this Saturday!
From Yahoo's Dalton Del Don:
"Quick Hits Part Deux: David Peralta’s OPS last year was .893, which was the 14th best in baseball, ahead of teammate A.J. Pollock and others like Andrew McCutchen, Carlos Gonzales, Yoenis Cespedes, Manny Machado and Kris Bryant, among many others. Peralta could hit cleanup this year, and only Coors Field has been a demonstrably better hitter’s park than Chase Field over the past three years. Peralta hit .360/.401/.577 after the All-Star break last season and looks like a star who’s not being drafted as such"
You are not too bright.
Do yourself a favor...visit Baseball Reference and look up the yearly top 10 list of power/speed number performers (and note their yearly fantasy baseball values).
...since you seem to believe that Chris Davis' power numbers are special...
COMPARE THE AVERAGE FANTASY BASEBALL YEARLY FINAL VALUE OF THOSE ON THE TOP 10 LIST FOR POWER/SPEED NUMBER VS THE AVERAGE FANTASY BASEBALL YEARLY FINAL VALUE OF THOSE ON THE TOP 10 LIST FOR HOMERUNS.
I believe the results will be eye opening.
New manager required for a competitive, very active league

Loaded Roster, reply for instant ownership
Trout/Kershaw should to be top 3 in MVP/CY every year for the next 5 at least (barring injuries). I don't think Stanton/Fernandez can say that.
T/K are probably 2 of the 10 best in MLB right now on any list. S/F are both a step below their counterparts. Still very good, but I dont see either in the top 10.
When countering hitter trades, I usually combine r+rbi and hr+sb as my personal comparison tool. Without checking, I think Trout is way ahead of Stanton in both.
I too would have rejected getting Kershaw/Miggy for Correra/Fernandez in a keeper, esp having Goldy. Yeah, insta-no on that trade.
However, I probably would have rejected your offer too, just a little slower.
One of our managers had his work schedule change and indicated he might not be able to participate so he asked if I could find a replacement just in case.
The team should make the playoff. Standard 5x5 + BB and holds make us 6x6. 2 NA, 5 DL, 6 BN. Keep 0-24 for next season. No trade deadline.
We are post draft, so your team is full. You have Kershaw, Gray, Perez, Freeman, Seager, and more. NA is Bradley Zimmer. You should get 3 free adds after DLing Boxberger and Maybin and NAing Zimmer. There are useful WW/FA guys and a lot of decent NAs out there. I think most of the top 10 are claimed, but not much beyond those.
Leave a reply if interested or for more details.
