Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
id go with jack, he has been the best player of the 3 over the last month or so, not sure if deron williams returning to form could impact his value, id stay away from calderon, and schroder has some pretty decent upside
Mookie. My main problem with Gordon is a very high BABIP that likely isn't repeatable, making his .290 AVG likely more of a .250 AVG. The steals will be there, but nothing else exciting IMO. Betts should contribute everywhere but RBI and not kill you too much there.
thx arron appreciate the advice... yeah i got a good idea on what i want to spend but seeing these mocks are making me think why people are paying that price.
Feel free to roster Andrus and Peralta all you like. It simply highlights the boundless lengths that you will go to in order to confirm your stupidity.

Unless you are playing with complete #$%$, there is no way you landed Trout, McCutchen, and Cabrera PLUS both Kershaw and Felix as pitchers... I call shenanigans.
Actually, with 14 categories, punting 1 becomes much less damaging... in this context miller and davis are just as valuable as holland and chapman, but you can probably get them ten rounds later. I would probably punt saves entirely if the other managers were drafting them at all like a standard league.

Jeremy - Looks like my reply to you did not go thru. I want to join the league and am a very serious player. I have been waiting on Pro Leagues to open for this whole month. For some reason cannot find how to search for private leagues or by league id#. I have no problem paying just need to get into league

One season does not a career make.
I assess players over their entire professional careers. Major leagues, minor leagues, and if available...NCAA stats. There is heavier weighting to MLB performance but I don't give heavier weighting to recent performance (unless they are a 2nd or 3rd year MLB player). Once you have been in the league for more than 3 years your standard performance has pretty much been set.
Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever...evaluate fantasy ownership potential based off a player's "ceiling". You base your ownership and expectations based off a player's "floor".
CDM sports is also one I like. They have a lot of different options, such as total points, AL/NL only, along with waiver or FAAB pickups. 10-12 teams, as low as $10. Not huge payouts, with second place getting their money back in smaller leagues, but I have enjoyed playing on their site.
