I am big on Gomez, everything with him reminds me of vintage Alfonso Soriano, I would take that deal plus Scherzer at one point was the OMG he is so good minor league pitcher.... take that deal
you try to trade him because tulo just went on the dl, everth could be headed there, asdrubal is on the dl, scutaro is hurt, and not many other shortstops are not playing very well right now, so it could be very possible that an owner is in need of a shortstop and would be willing to trade for a guy with 16 steals already and has been a steady producer on a good team for his whole career
trumbo has more value he can play 1,3,of which carrys value in the fantasy realm. myers could be awesome but needs time, liriano could implode anytime,
im looking to sell gomez and scherzer more than i want to buy them so this trade does worry me a bit. scherzer has a career whip of 1.25 and his whip right now is .87, thats crazy unsustainable and the regression could be bad, when that guy struggles it is no fun for anyone. he will get more ks than kuroda rest of season but so will a lot of other players and if you want to sell high on davis and kuroda i would probably go for safer guys.
I give Trumbo and get Liriano and Wil Myers. It's a 5 keeper league and Trumbo has potential to be one of my top 5 with Tulo, Kershaw, Machado, Kipnis, Granderson. Does this seem like a good deal?
not necessarily a flash in the pan but he is going to be far from consistent. i would not plan on starting brown as your OF3 for the entirety of the season in any way. is he worth owning and playing right now? of course. he might be on the verge of a slump, but he has been better at home than on the road and theyve been on a road trip so its possible that is accounting for his recent lack of production
dont need to be "risky" at all...check out my details in my ititial post...just looking to improve my team needs (scherzers k's)....and i agree, all 4 players are having career years.
