Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
This is one of the dumbest commentaries I've ever seen. Going to bed laughing at the guy who is such a "big believer" that he "over drafted" Abreu in "every league, YET starts his post "You made a bad trade." Fielder is old news, it's not two weeks of Abreu... it's all about future production. The guy is proven pro ballplayer who had 15 MLB clubs offering him multi-million dollar multi-year offers. I guess Puig, and Darvish, and Tanaka are all poor trade candidates in your book too, but you "over drafted" them as well. If your going to have an opinion, at least make some sense. Too silly.
You made a bad trade. Fielder is a proven hitter against major league pitching, Abreu is not. There's no way that you should have had to throw in a player to get this deal done. 2 weeks of stats is not a large enough sample size to make Abreu a top 15 player, because that's basically what you just traded to get him, plus an incredibly talented young pitcher. Plus, its not like you dumped a 35 year old vet for a 23 year old with all the potential in the world. These guys are only a couple of years apart and even that is suspect as they don't keep very good birth records where Abreu is from. I'm a big believer in Abreu, over drafted him in every league I could to make sure I got him, but you still paid way to much for two weeks of production. Hopefully it pays off as I'd like to see him succeed as well.
109 innings pitched, 2.20 era, 1.00 WHIP, 2 (two), TWO, did I say 2 victories to my team. I missed the one win Darvish got as he was still on my DL, but have gotten every other game in. I am already 4 wins behind the 2nd to last team in that category, and 12 wins behind the top team.
Nuggets/Warriors stats didn't update at all throughout the game, CBS has Foye 4/10 from 3pt range, and yours just popped up and says 3/10. This will actually determine the championship in my league. Is what you guys have final? If not, when will you guys look at it and make changes?
I think Walker is a good ball player anyway, but he is really killing it right now ... Miller has upside potential but his youth and inexperience do not make a regression out of the question. It would be preferable to add Walker without dropping Miller if possible. Please reply to my post "Any thoughts on this trade offer?"
Hanley always misses time...he'll be dtd. Right now Miller is a great buy low and Walker is a sell high candidate. Miller is making mistakes but he is a pretty good hitting short stop/middle infielder. Walker doesn't kill your stats, but he's more like a safe bet. In fantasy, there really isn't any safe bets, stick it out with Miller, he's going to get through, he beat Nick Franklin for short stop, he's just in a rut but will get through. Back to Hanley though, I saw the hit by pitch, he's so injury prone, used to own him and so many times he was DTD
What I don't get is people replay with negative replies with nothing whatsoever to back up their 1 or 2 or vague criticism. It's like do you have anything else to say besides..."Terrible deal" Or you got nailed bro, hope he bought u dinner? Really? What do you have to back up that lame answer?
It is a keeper league, and I've made trades for players when they were questionable or at their low. believe it or not, I'm not even a top 3 team and last year I was runner up,in the championship it ended up being a tie. Don't ask, I'm still questioning that lol
Hi all, I've been asked to take over a keeper team in a league, but I currently have used up all 8 of my teams I can have on my account.
Does anyone know of a way to remove/delete a team I own in a league that has been completed and finished for the season?
I don't see the need for me to have to hold onto a team in a completed league, and I really want to take this keeper team over.
Any ideas/thoughts would be great.
It depends on what you feel your teams are. Without seeing your team can't really tell because Kemp and Hamilton are completely different styles. Kemp won't be stealing bases, he's not a sb threat any longer. Billy Hamilton on the other hand can single handedly win your sb. It's unfair to Seagar because he's gotten off to a cold start but what I've seen and heard about Semien, he's going to be hot and cold because he is such a raw talent. Based on these 4 names though? I believe if Matt Kemp stays healthy, this side wins out only because Hamilton can steal first base, it depends on if he can get on base. Matt Kemp is swinging the bat effortlessly, and looks healthy and comfortable, first time in a long time...when he looks this good, there will be plenty of 2 home run games with all that protection in that line up, it will be a CATastrophy!!! Answer back to your ReDonkulous comment lol
I'd go with LeBron, George, Horford, Leonard and Dirk. That's a solid all around group of front court/wing players that get a little bit of everything. With that core you don't need a stud all-around point guard. Chances are Parker and Teague may still be on the board when it comes time to redraft the rest of your team. None of those other guys would be there for you if you're picking in a later spot.
Haha.. dude that team is ridonkulously stacked!!! I have no idea how you managed to put it together, but it should rock in any format. You need nothing but auto-pilot! Hit me up with a reply to my post called "Any thoughts on this trade offer?"
