Commissioner Corner Message Board
Thanks for your reply, that's more or less my take on it as well. I can probably deal Franco if necessary.
As for your squad:
Miggy at 7 is too high, IMO. I'd have grabbed one of the 3B usually available there, (Machado/Arenado/Bryant.)
Using your 3,4 and 5 picks on all SP's was not a great strategy, because you let a LOT of power bats pass you by, and Hosmer at 6 looks like a big reach because you already had 1B covered.
David Wright at 17 is a nice pick if he can stay healthy.
You only have 4 SP...you need 2 more.
Your speed is solid
Your RP is solid
Your power is a major weakness that you need to address, maybe dangle Rendon for a real power bat.
Your team needs a little TLC.

it's a free league, but also if you want to play for $$ the fee is $10. Those that pay will be in for the $$, those that don't pay, play for fun. Highest finisher(s) among those who pay will win the $$. Usually 5 or 6 play for $$. Right now we have 10 players, so if you join we would need one more to make it an even 12. I would have to remove you from the league if we end up with 11.
Has nothing to do with Yahoo--players go on DL when the teams do, and they wont until the last possible second---probably deciding on 15 day vs 60 day
22 31 1 14
Too bad Almirola didn't practice any faster ... the 43 team KNOWS how to set a car up for Martinsville. Reference the record of THE KING, Bobby Hamilton (numerous top 5 finishes) and John Andretti, who won there in '99 with no front clip ... I saw it live ;)
It's easy to like Dozier, but I have a difficult time getting past the average. I believe Castro has the ability to put up .290/ 18 HR, 11 SB. I'd rather keep Pence and play Castro at second.
