We need someone to take over this team in a 20 team, 25 man roster keeper league and we keep 12. The team is in 20th place so making the playoffs this year is a stretch but it's fixable for next year. If you are interested in the challenge, email my yahoo account. andrewcross1977. I got Conforto as basically an add-on in getting Harvey. I have Sano and Brantley on the DL. Conforto is in my starting lineup with no BN. What should I do with him? There really isn't a hitter worth adding. Should I dump him outright or hold? My team is strong and in 2nd place so I can go with an empty slot for month or so, but I don't really want to into late August.
Any other Conforto owners out there?
They are a playoff team but I can see them departing from the playoffs early. They have a good offense and a deep minor league system. They have a true ace in Hamels, and a legitimate 1-2 threat when Darvish is healthy and decent number 3 guy in Perez (another injury risk) but after that the rotation falls off dramatically. IF Darvish and Perez can stay healthy by playoffs time they have a shot. I could see them trading for another arm. Honestly its just seems like most AL teams are one dimensional.
Does anyone else wish that players that are NA or DL could be added directly to your NA or DL spots without first having a BN spot open?
Our league does "daily-today" transactions. Earlier this week, one of the players in my NA spot was called up and no longer NA. Today, I wanted to drop a player, pick up another NA and then swap roster positions of the old NA with the new NA. After dropping the first player, I tried to add an NA since I had an open roster spot but Y! wouldn't let me because I had that other player still in the NA spot.
I know that's how it works, but does it not seem reasonable to wish otherwise?
I agree with you. The league seems to disapprove of that. There's 1/3 of the league that wants owners to do whatever the want, 1/3 that wants to veto unfair trades and another third that doesn't care and votes which ever way their close friends vote. But the managers I chatted with don't want him replaced mid-season. We'll just keep vetoing his trades. Thanks for responding.

This year I'm drafting Gronk late 1 early 2 if he's there or Fleener in 6 or 7 or I'm gonna be the last team to take a TE. If Rodgers or Luck hit rnd 4 I likely will take them or Brees in rnd 5 otherwise I'm gonna wait also.
Eli, Rivers,Cousins,Stafford are my targets if I wait on QB
