Commissioner Corner Message Board
Nervous i was half asleep when i pulled the trigger on this trade
Proponents of the Doctrine of Double Effect make two claims: (1) it is sometimes permissible to bring about a harm as a merely foreseen side effect of an action aimed at some good end, even though it would have been impermissible to bring about the same harm as a means to that end, and (2) this is so because of the moral significance of the distinction between intending and foreseeing a harmful consequence of one's own agency. Thus, Double Effect rests a claim about the conditions of permissible action on a distinction between two different ways of bringing about a harmful event: Instrumentally, as a means to a good end, incidentally, as a side effect of pursuing a good end. Add that with some kryptonite, two 1.21 gigawatt flux capacitors," that are not under any substantial load!!! " and one can foresee a similar outcome.

if you have the depth to pull it off, it's not a terrible trade as you get 2 out of the 3 best players involved. Where you really get hurt is Longo and Cargo. You can drop Prado and feel ok about it, but you're stuck with Cargo & Longo. Hope one or both of them gets hot and try your best to flip them to a different team.
Steve H is exactly right. It is things like this that had me thinking about fixing the problem by commissioning my own leagues. Then I can set DL and NA to as many as I want up to the max. Yahoo will not change again so you might as well look to see how you can fix it for yourself.

Which one would you want on your team for the rest of the season ? It's a 12 team h2h standard yahoo setting 1 yr league. Rollins is on the FA list and I wouldn't have to use my waiver spot to get him.
Thanks for your input and advice.
That's a good point, but it is April, so do you think all of those guys, who have strong track records, turn it around to some degree?
Here are some guys who had some questions at the beginning of the year, whether those were good questions or not.
Anyone else have others that you noticed people debating over, but you new there was nothing to debate?
