Email me if interested - thunderbat12 aatt yyaahhoooo
Nearly all settings are yahoo default except we have 2 extra SP spots and an extra BN spot.
there are 5-6 catchers id take over Castro. Castro?! ouch. Realmuto is next after the top couplel -only one full season under his belt.., Ramos close behind
not sure I'd have given up quite that much but best of luck.
12 team leagye does indeed make sensenow that im thinking about it..nice draft. Were your first 5 picks Rizzo, Stanton, Stras, Price, King Felix?
I lost 4-5-1 this week and am tied for 1st w/ 594 win %. Billy has scored 2 runs in a game twice and had 2 SB's in a game twice this year while batting 227. Except my 4 inf's and polanco whole team has been bad for a few weeks. I hav #1 waiver and passed on justin upton this week, I also dropped Devon travis from my DL to waivers and the last place team got him. Billy 51% owned , Dee 58% If I drop bill today he would be 6th most owned guy on my leeg FA page. I still hav faith, but also #1 waiver-so if someone to good to pass up gets dropped...idk if id drop bill, dee, wellington castillo ( and go catcherless a while) or a SP
Then Yahoo needs to change how it describes its league settings. Currently, the setting states, "Wait until called up to Majors," NOT "When player spends an entire day on the roster." Big difference. This is a major flaw in Yahoo's settings. Please correct for the future.
I'd say Carp/Kang but I could understand you taking this deal as well.
Ozuna appears to have finally figured things out after being hyped for years---he won't maintain this but a .275 average and another 15-18 HRs seems completely reasonable for him (with potential for more). Story is a beast---his crazy K% is a concern, but I think playing in Colorado will keep his average in .255-.260 range and the power is legit.
However, Carp/Kang will likely produce similarly to Story/Ozuna and are far more 'proven' and 'safe' commodities. Carp looks to picking right off where he left last year and I'd continue to expect something similar--- .260ish, 13-15 more HR, and good RBI/run totals in a great lineup.
I love kang--i've had him last year and drafted him again this year. I totally buy this recent power binge. Would it shock me to see him finish year with 22-25 HR (16-19 more HR from the 6 he has)? Absolutely not---he hit 15 last year and people continually said there's potential for more in his bat....thing he's finding that now. Now he may not hit the .285ish he has thus far---.265ish probably a better bet.
Do you really need an OF? Do you have a 3B or is Carp your 3b? Assuming your OF isn't desperate for someone, stick with carp/kang---put Carp in your Util and take that great production while also having someone who can backup both your 2b (in case Murphy comes back to earth) and your 3b.
