General Message Board
I am looking for two replacement teams for our Head-to-Head Points based league. It is an 8 team league that awards points based upon how the player performs and not using categories. It is played just like fantasy football.
League ID: 25520
Players earn points for:
Single = 1pt
Double = 2pts
Triple = 3pts
HR = 4 pts
RBI = 1 pt
Stolen Base = 2 pts
Caught Stealing = -1pt
Strikeout = -1pt
Each out Recorded = 1pt
Strikeout = 1pt
Walk = -1pt
Hit allowed = -1pt
Hit Batter = -1pt
and so on.....
Hope you can join!!!
You don't get 10 points for winning the race. You can get 10 points for leading a lap and 10 points for leading the most laps.
A couple of questions. Are you trying to pick new drivers or just switch your staters with your bench driver?
Are you using internet explorer? People have had problems with that. Download mozilla
From the bottom of your roster.
Scoring Details Done
Each driver can receive a maximum of 90 fantasy points during each race. The top 45 finishers receive points, with the winning driver getting the maximum 90 and other drivers receiving two fewer points for every spot they finish behind the leader - i.e. the second-place driver 88 points, the third-place driver gets 86.
You receive the total points earned by all active drivers on your team provided that they have not already been active in nine races (see Maximum Starts for more information).
Bonus points are awarded to each of the drivers with the four best starting positions after qualifying. The top qualifier receives 10 bonus points, the second receives five, the third receives three and the fourth receives one. Because qualifying for Daytona 500 is broken up over two days, these bonus points will NOT be awarded for the Daytona 500.
An additional 10 bonus points are awarded to each driver who leads at least one lap during a race. The driver leading the most laps during a race will also earn another 10 bonus points. To earn these bonus points for your fantasy team, a driver must be on your team and active during the race.
If a race is officially cancelled, no fantasy team will receive any points for that race. All other scoring rules stay the same. If qualifying or a race is delayed or postponed, no points will be awarded until it is completed.
We need four good managers to join eight returnees for our Silent Auction league. Please post e-mail if interested. The eight owners are a tough group so competition should be good. Rules overview:
Weekly 7X7 H2H, 30 man rosters plus DLs and NAs, 40 IP innings minimum
Start with $1,000,000
On March 22, all players are put on blind bidding waivers.
Each day, you can put in bids on up to 10 players. Your bids can be as high or low ($0 anybody?) as you want and you can bid on Mike Trout or Mike Carp or anybody else you want. Players who receive bids are awarded to the highest bid; players with no bids are back on waivers overnight. Bidding process continues until teams are filled, and then runs as a regular waiver wire.
Leftover/saved cash rolls into the season as bidding bucks for nightly waivers. (So if you choose to spend little preseason, you can control the in-season wire.)
Can send complete rules/strategy notes. The most effective strategy is to bid early in the process, but not necessarily bid high. (Most of the studs do go Day 1, but other teams have succeeded by bidding $0 on fifth round talent on Day 1 and scooping up remaining studs on Day 2, or sucking up "all" the good 2B and using them as trade bait, or... well lots of different strategies work, but sitting completely on your hands on Day 1 is the only strategy guaranteed to fail. Bid on 10 guys, and you'll be fine.)
I wasn't really busting chops on the new format. The mishap was related to getting cars through tech, which would have caused issues under the old format.
