SIXTY FEET SIX INCHES
I'm looking for two replacement managers for a 16 Team (Head to Head), 4 Division, All-Pitchers League. If interested, email / message me for an invite. First come first serve. This is a Keeper League (we're in our 3rd year). Currently, the keeper amount is at 4, but it may increase for next season.
First available team:
King of Beer
Not bad... but man you got lucky on some of those trades. You did really bad on some of them. Most notably Lupul for Steen/Oshie and then Forsberg for Parise/Carter.
That Zetterberg trade is ridiculous. You absolutely killed that guy on that trade.
What are talking about "one category" Bruce hit 30HR and averaged 100RBI in 2011 , 2012, 2013 before getting hurt in 2014. He also averaged at least 85R in each of those years. How is that "one category"? In 7 seasons Bruce has a career .250BA. Bruce is one of the best sluggers in MLB.
I like all four of those names quite a bit. Why not keep all 4? If you are needing to trade one, trying to trade Gregerson is the wrong approach. He'll give you numbers as good as any of them but he is the least sexy name to trade to another manager. You should be trying to trade the guy who can get you the most in return, which is Kimbrel.
But thats the point. over the span of a week MOST batter WILL contribute to all CATs. An SP will never contribute to all 5.
Not to say there isnt a need for a good SP. But IMO, bats are much more valuable
steam... pick up the best matchups everyday. rarely do pitchers put up negative points in a points league. speed guys usually rule everything depending on how the points are set up.
There are a million places to click on Yahoo Sports, need more detail. It sounds like what ever you are clicking on is pointing to an old league. I generally type "base" in the URL line and it auto fills to the username overview of all active leagues for baseball.
Who would you prefer in a straight up trade in a salary league with options?
Dozier - 3 years @ $5
Archer - 2 years @ $3
At the end of their contracts I will have the option to extend their contract up to another 5 year. So who would prefer to have long term?
