Commissioner Corner Message Board
Hello, this is the first major issue I've come across in my tenure as a fantasy commissioner. A trade has gone down that I see as totally unbalanced.
Team A gets:
Team B gets:
Now, this trade went through without enough veto votes, but I think people don't really pay attention. My theory is that Team B isn't focused on Fantasy Basketball, being near the bottom, and agreed to give up all their star players to Team A, who is currently in second place. To be honest, my team has been in 1st place for nearly the entire season, I do sense a threat to my lead now that Team A has stacked up. I have considered undoing the trade for "basketball reasons." I wanted some feedback from other commissioners before making a personal decision.
seriously ????? You have to be kidding. You are the commishioner and you want to veto a trade because it will adversly affect you? In any league I'm in in any sport. If the commishioner did something like that you would have a whole league of teams #$%$ off and dropping out. Seriously ???? I mean c'mon man. The ONLY time any trade should be vetoed is if it is definite collusion. It is a bad trade for sure. I have seen worse. But it did not get vetoed by the league so there is no question it should stand even if you believe trades shoiuld be voted on.
Ouch! How did ya'll let that one slip through the cracks? If you want you could transfer teams over to your email account, make the trade back and then send the previous managers an invite to take back over their teams. Good luck.
