He's going to be valuable as long as roy is out. Even IF roy does play, he will play limited minutes, maybe not back to back games, etc.

    Roy's injury is a chronic thing. IF he can continue to play it will be a mix of limited minutes and occasional rest. That would make matthews a frustrating play as well since his minutes would fluctuate.
    
    Roy might have to shut it down at some point this year so Matthews would be a very nice player to own if that happens.
    
    That is basically what you are in for owning Matthews. Start him when you know Roy is out - and hope that at some point Roy shuts it down for the year.
