    I just traded Kobe for Chris Paul...Did i make a mistake??? Someone help me out...

      i think it was bad because u traded the best player in the nba for a very good point guard...

      Paul was the right decision, he gets more assists and steals, and gets close to the point production that Bryant gets. It was a great trade in my opinion.

        either way though, they are both such good players, that the tradeshouldn't affect your team too much.

        but to address everyone else, i just hope that the lakers/hornets are able to get the 4th and 5th seed so they can play in the playoffs. i guarantee the lakers would win.

        kobe > chris paul in real life. i don't care about fantasy. shawn marion is a better fantasy player than kobe and lebron year in and year out. who would you rather have on your team.

      its gonna be Paul's year !!!!!!! but honestly, I think both Paul and Kobe will finish ...

      its gonna be Paul's year !!!!!!! but honestly, I think both Paul and Kobe will finish in the top 5 at the of the season. however you can get Kobe's type of production from many other players like Pierce, Redd, RJeff, Gordon, Hamilton, Kevin Martin, just a little less. Paul on the other hand is special though. 20 points/10assists/3 steals ?? Only Iverson and Steve Nash is somewhere in his neighborhood.

      Nope, no mistake. Good, but also fair trade. Depends what you need. Paul has done everything expected from a point guard. Even a high FG% for a PG, making more 3's, 3.0 STL AVG, and a real nice AST/TO ratio. Only Calderon has a better ratio. Enough with this debate with Deron Williams. There is none. Deron is holding his own but Paul is so much better.

However, as you can see from just the replies on this thread, there will always be the Kobe lovers who are so blinded by his name that they'll make ridiculous trades just to get him.

        Look at this way, Paul is nasty.. will get u assists, pts, stls .. good shit

        Kobe is a beast.. will get u more pts, less asts, abt the same in stls, more 3's, go to the line more often and shoot more.. and get more boards.. so in comparison u should only trade kobe for paul if you need assts and suck at TO's...

        Now, lets look at this deal in the long run... Kobe is undoubtedly gonna explode as the season progresses.. hes gonna have big games.. theres no question abt it.. the only question is how many times..

        Now, you b the judge.. IMO, its not a bad trade.. but its def not a gr8 trade..
