Dwight is currently ranked #208 overall. Really!? Can you think of anyone else that can average 20pts 16reb 2 ast 1.5st and 2blk with 55%FG!?! Of course not! He doesn't provide 3pm, but neither do almost all C's so it's not hurting you. Yes, he has a lot of TO's but so does every other star player that handles the ball alot. So in essence he's bad in one category out of 9. I'm in an 8 cat league that doesn't count TO's and I'm punting FT%. I'd rank Dwight #3 overall on the season in this league. Blake I have at about #33. Or go by Yahoo - DH is ranked the 65th best CENTER in the league!? He's far behind Ian Mahinmi, the 45th best C out there. REALLY?!

I was wondering the same thing. It's definitely messed up. There's no way a 21/11 guy that shoots over 50% from the field and averages 3 assists is ranked 225. Absolutely no way. Besides, there are plenty of big men that shoot poorly from the stripe and/or don't get a lot of blocks. The penalty isn't that severe.

that ranking is correct. so is dwight howards. they use a math formula that weights how much each player contributes and hurts you in categories. yes, griffin gets good pts,boards,fg%, but he gives nothing in the other cats and hurts your ft% badly. you cant just look at the %, you need to look at the attempts too. he shoots a lot of ft's a game. obviously if youre punting ft%, they're values goes WAY up, especially d howard. yahoo assumes the standard categories in their formula though.
