Why can't I drop players and add players today effective today?

I dropped Speeze yesterday and he is still on my team today, anyone know how to change this?

  Your description is strange. Have a look at tomorrow's roster. Chances are maybe you did it after midnight or tried picking ip a player still on waivers.
