Yes I don't understand what the delay is either ... the announcement on Spezza's surgery was made early today. Other sites had him "Injured Reserve" eligible within a few hours. I hope they will here too b/c I don't want to just drop him and shouldn't have to ... he should be designated "IR" and we should be able to keep him and get in another players.
This is my firs year at Yahoo and I was wondering if delays in IR designations is common. If so, it means we may as well drop the players even if they are superstars like Spezza which doesn't seem right in case he comes back before the end of the year ...
